Stunningly gorgeous - close flast for maximum view while opened - soid - smell fresh - compliments from everyone - light diffusing and privacy without darkness. We use this is a Cabana across 4 French Doors and one looooong rod - rod supports them easy - Levelor I believe - each section of door has one Bamboo panel which slides to left or right and *folds* closes flat where wood trim and rod support is so that the clear window panels reveal the outside to pool area. Very nice -the value was unreal - I received an estimate for $2500 for different treatment and a discounted blind/drape site and these were a little over $*** for four panels. WOW!

This was a great find. I have styled my dining room with a Tuscan flair. I have beautiful up/down wood blinds and didn't need full drapes. So I ordered my drape fabric from Vogue's and will use these swing arms for drapes on each side of my three windows which sit in a cluster on one wall. If I want to open the windows I can easily swing the drapery arms away from the window to allow full flow of air through the open windows without the drapes getting in the way. Wonderful product!

We purchased a townhouse 9 months ago, there were no window treatments. The trim in this house is called 'Almond', not white so I didn't want to go with traditional 2 in faux wood white blinds. I purchased different styles of bamboo for 5 rooms! For the windows we hung white pull down shades for privacy and to keep out the light when needed. This style is in my living area, 2 windows and a set of french doors that lead out to the porch. I love the brown tones in them so much.I was concerned going with brown bamboo rather than 2 in blinds they would bring the rooms *down* color wise but they look so nice with the sunlight shining in. The amount of light they let in is perfect, I have gotten so many compliments from my neighbors. I read in the reviews these are not for complete privacy, I agree, they are not! From being outside and at my neighbors townhouse across from ours, I can't really see inside during the day but they offer no privacy at night with any lights on inside. Very glad we have the pull down shades behind them on the windows. I was going to get shears for the french doors but went with lined panels. Highly recommended, I can tell the shear curtains would not have provided much more privacy where I live. I have always had white blinds in homes where we lived, maybe its because we moved to FL, but I love the bamboo as much as the day we put them up! I would not go back to white blinds if they were free. My only mistake was I ordered them an inch too wide. I triple measured the openings of each window but did not notice to take into account the extra wood trim inside the window frame that is about 1 inch deep from the interior wood trim on the walls. If that makes sense. It resulted in us having to do an outside mount instead of inside like I wanted. Big positive on that is I am sure the roll down shades would not have fit as an inside mount if these had not been mounted outside. We still have stuff in storage, I ran across a cream colored shear panel the other day, I draped it across the top of one of the bamboo shades, like a swag, it looked great, it would be perfect if I could find my other shears! All in all, I love them, recommend them if you are wanting to try a different look, shear panels draped across the top looks so good with an outside mount. Shears can be economical, plus you can put up any length or color : ). My kids room has a bright green, found them on sale for $5 each at a department store.

I ordered these blinds for a dining room window. I was somewhat concerned that they would not be formal enough for the room, but behind my drapes, they look great. The wood color (I ordered pecan) is as it was pictured. I had been getting a great deal of afternoon sun through my draperies, and was looking for blinds that would minimize the sun, but not "cheapen" the look of the room. These were the perfect choice. Everyone has commented on how beautiful they are, and I have noticed a huge difference in the temperature of the room in the afternoons...much cooler. They installed easily as well. Wonderful product for the price.

These wooden blinds were a great value. They look great, are made well and sell at other stores for much more money.

The thermal drapes came as promised. They are wonderful. Look like expensive draperies. I hung them on a thick wooden rod and used clip rings. They look awesome. My friend is an interior decorator and she couldn't believe what I paid for them. I think she also ordered some for herself.

Love these shades. Great quality and price. The color and texture provide a softened look on the window when used with drapes. I like that the length allows the shades to be hung higher than the window and still reach to the floor which elongates the window. These shades provide a soft casual elegance to the window when used with a drapery.

These drapes are really beautiful. The design is striking and they look great in my living room. The workmanship is quite good. They even sent along drapery hooks, should you decide you want to use them instead of the back tabs.

These blinds are affordable and chic, especially when layered beneath drapes. Bamboo blinds are classic and the burled wood striations give these a more expensive look. Thanks Overstock!

We are using these drapes in our dining room to border our wood blinds. They are beautiful and look expensive. The are somewhat sheer so I would not recommend them if you are looking for something room darkening. I highly recommend these drapes, especially considering their great price.

I just had our bedroom painted and added new bed comforter set, draperies and the windows needed something else. The shades added that something. I probably should have ordered them an inch wider because I had to hang it further out than planned because of the screen on my casement windows. The only other thing is at the top where the mounting screws were the wood header was cracked but didn't affect the hanging of the shade.

What can be said about blinds? Not much. We all know what they are and what they look like. However, because I needed an odd size, these were "custom". I could never have gotten wooden blinds for this price. I had custom roll up shades before. What I'm loving about the blinds is how much light they allow into a room. A shade isn't very appealing rolled all the way up. Blinds allow so much light and privacy with the pull of a chord. Delivery was within one week.

When I found 2' inch faux wooden blinds on OS for the price, I could not believe it. I only ordered 2 so I could actually see them, after I received my blinds I ordered for my whole house!! The blinds are BEAUTIFUL and I couldn't believe the Crown Molding that came with my blinds... I have told ALL MY FRIENDS to buy from OS, can't beat these prices ANYWHERE!!! I Love Them :)))

I love these drapes, you can't beat the quality for the price. My only complaint is the top . I wish they had some buckram attached to the top of the drapes so I could attach hooks and use wood drapery rings (I don't like the ring/clip combo) I did find some iron-on buckram, to stiffen up the top and hold the hooks. They are the best. The faux silk adds a understated shimmer.

Husband just recently installed the rod. We have ten foot high ceilings and window has an arch on top and is pretty much a ceiling to floor type, so needed a long drapery length. Ordered the 108" length iin Burgundy for a one window study. Very nice looking quality wise. My only complaint would be for the wrinkled state in which received, due to packaging. I haven't had a chance yet to either iron or to place in the dryer as many have suggested. Will do this as soon as I have a chance. If the dryer doesn't work, I will try my steamer or ironing and hope for the best. I wanted the drapes to be long enough so that we could hang them above the arched top of the window as the blinds here were all hung below the arch. Texas summers can be hot and by hanging above the arch, I can pull the drapes across to cover even the arch to block out the intense sun. I normally keep the drapes to the sides of the windows and this looks attractive also.

This is a good quality for a rolling shade. I was excited to finally see the longer length that I needed and it is fantastic that it came in just about every length. I had been becoming frustrated that I would have to order custom drapery until I came upon this at overstock. This color goes well with the light wood wood blinds I have in the same room.

Finally found these during a LONG search for replacement curtains for our bedroom. Wanted the look of silk dupioni, without the cost four full-length panels would have cost. Other faux silk panels looked cheap, and/or were unlined. Bought two pairs in ivory, hung w/wooden drapery rings, and they look gorgeous. They hang nicely-- as expected for the price, they are not thick or 'luxurious', but they are not stiff, either. We're very happy w/this purchase and love how they finish the room!

These are just as nice as the custom-order blinds you'll find at the home improvements stores, and are about one-third of the cost. The 'tilt' side has two cords which you pull, instead of the wands that you find on some of the other wooden blinds. The valance that is included is a piece of moulding that snaps on the top and adds an instant touch of 'custom'. Installation was simple and I had all six up within 90 minutes, without the aid of another set of hands. Highly recommended.

I live in an apartment with 2 rooms which have 8 foot glass block windows. These face the hallway and when the sun goes down the lights come on and in. I don't need a nightlight and can relate to life in Alaska. It is ridiculous how much I have to pay to sleep in the light of day. That prompted me to purchase these drapes. I now only have my bedroom window to outfit (it faces the courtyard and already has wooden blinds) and I should be good to sleep the night away. If you need light blocked these drapes won't disappoint.

I usually purchase custom lined drapes for our huge windows. The economy certainly has changed my buying habits. These drapes look lovely in my feminine office. I chose the butter color. The panels drape very nicely, and needed little touch up. From a distance, they look quite nice. I'm not using a sheer, but I do have wood blinds. If you look closely at the drapes, the fabric has numerous small 'runs' compared to higher quality taffeta. There are also many small loose threads. I'm not sure these would work (unlined, or no sheer) in a brightly lit window. But, for my office, they look pretty good.Overall, it's a very good product for the price.
