At first I didn't like the way they looked in the package but when we hung these curtains, they look amazing. I noticed they are weighted at the bottom also! I'm hoping after a few days of hanging, the wrinkles will come out on their own, especially with the summer heat and the weights, but if not I will try taking the steamer to them. I'm 8 months pregnant so they might have to wait until I can get on a ladder again, or talk the husband into working the steamer, lol!
Thanks, Overstock! I really like these curtains. They are lined nicely, very heavy, and definitely block the light between them and the blinds underneath. On the top windows without blinds, I can still see some light coming through the lined material but it's not enough to be bothersome. Just something to note for those that are looking for complete black out. It might be because they are ivory and that a darker color would take care of that. I love the look it gave the room and the acoustics in the room have changed. I ...
This curtain rod is great for wide windows. We bought this for a 120.5" sill to sill windows (3 windows) covering and it works perfectly. The only thing my husband made a comment on is that he didn't like the center mount showing and thought it looked bad. But, what can you do when your windows are that wide? You need the support for heavy curtains! This rod doesn't bend with our 108" long 4 panel (50" wide each) velvet black-out lined, and weighted bottom curtains. It looks great!
Will be buying another one of these rods for our living room 3 windows. Yeah!
The burgundy stripes look thicker on the picture and in real product they are too thin to create the look they intend to create. Come across as more of just tan color.
