The chandelier is OK, but not great. I hung it in my kitchen dining space, but definatly would not use it in a formal dining room. The finish is cheap. It's made of some type of metal and then dipped or painted silver, It scuffes and scratches very easily so becareful when assebling it and hanging it. Also the elecrical cord is gold/brass color which doesn't lock good with the silver finish and hanging chain. I'm am going to send it back.
