Just love this trunk. I use it as a toy chest for my granddaughter that I babysit for. When the toys are put away, it makes a great coffee table/footrest in front of the couch. I only have to make a cushion for the top now as it is hard when resting your bare feet. Great acquisition.

This is exactly what I wanted for my small bedroom which is lacking in storage. It looks really good: I love the dark brown color; it opens and closes well. Perfect for tidying up a room that has stuff left around. Boots, books, clothes etc. all fit in easily. I put the decorative bed pillows on top of it at night instead of tossing them on the floor. It seems pretty strong, but my only concern is that some of the wicker on the inside and a bit on the outside looks like it might unravel. It won't get any rough treatment so I think I am okay. I would hesitate to use it as a toy box or anything that a child might use.

I am not very happy, it is not very sturdy, actually it seems very cheap and not very big. It will do I guess. I would not buy another one. I shop Overstock often and this was actually the only product that I was not very happy with.

The workmanship is quite sloppy.
I think it does not worth the price.
Although I was satisfied with the perfect size for my need, it seems that the materials used is not so high-end at all.

This was easy to build, took no more than 15 minutes.
From opening it, you will need to air out the peices because they stink like stain finish.
You can sit on this trunk without it feeling like it will break.
Its being used as a toy box, so for a more adult look and feel, it is easy to work into your decorationg style. The Wicker Box gives it a number of different uses around the house, not just in the bedroom or laundry room.
Anyone looking for a small peice for storage, should consider getting this wicker box for its quality and price.

The size is exactly as I expected. The color of the finish is also as I expected; Although I had to touch up the finish in 3 places. The lid is warped and I had to redrill the screw holes for the lid hinges, due to the exsisting holes not having been done correctly. What should have taken maybe 10 minutes to assemble ended up taking well over an hour. The workmanship is of poor quality. It will serve the purpose but not of the quality I anticipated.

I was hesitant to purchase this at first, but I gave in because other stores were charging an arm and a leg for a trunk. I'm happy with this purchase, it is a little smaller than I expected when compared to the size of my bed, but it works and it matches the rest of the decor. I've never been disappointed with a purchase from overstock.

The only complaint I have is the handles are decorative only. I tried to move the empty trunk using the handles and they came off. They are flimsy. The rest of the trunk is of average quality and is fine for the purpose I am using it for -- to hold beach towels on my porch beside the hot tub.

This chest is not worth your time and efffort. When it was unpacked, paint chips were everywhere. Paint continued to come off of the chest as it was assembled. I vacummed the chest and wiped it down only to have more paint come off.
I planned to use this as a toy chest for a small child. With all of the paint problems, I do not recommend this product..

The workmanship is poor and the construction shows cheap materials. It is adequate for storing lightweight items only.
It is not worth even the discounted price. The lid was warped, the hinge screws stripped. Useful only as a decoration, attractive from about fifteen feet away.
For storage purposes it is only slightly better than a cardboard box.

I bought the brown trunk and am very pleased with it. It is nice and dark and resembles an antique, just what I was hoping for. It was very easy to put together and is sturdy. It is a nice size, perfect for our smaller room. We use it as a toy chest but it would fit plenty of blankets and throws for storage too.

I purchase this and the overlook is very nice, but 2 sides were damaged and some of the finishing was ruin. Luckily I am used to refinishing things so it now looks perfect. If you are handy you can fix the imperfections, if not you should not order this. It's a good size and perfect for extra storage.
