These privacy liners were perfect for us! We had installed inexpensive bamboo Roman shades in our garage last year, which looked great inside the garage but looked terrible from the outside (it looked like our windows were boarded up from the inside!). These white liners did the trick. We installed two of them in about 10 minutes -- very easy. Though my husband thinks they look sort of cheap if you are looking right at them, from the street they look great and coordinate with the rest of white window treatments on the front of the house (white blinds, shutters, etc.).

This is a good liner, although I plan to tack the liner to the shade at it's bottom with fishing line, glue, etc. Otherwise, when the shade is raised, the liner hangs about 1 to 2 inches below the bottom of the shade. This liner was even 2 inches less in height than the shade I purchased, so on a 72 in. shade it probably hangs outside of the shade even more than 2 inches. I couldn't find any places that sold privacy liners separately from the shade other than Overstock and the largest height Overstock sold in these were 72 in. So even though I needed 74 in. liners, I went ahead and purchased these. I read that others have made their own privacy liners, but I thought it would be easier to buy these and just tack them to the shade by hand. I'll have to make my own for a couple of larger width windows, so I hope I can match this fabric.
