It took awhile, but my spouse and I finally came up with a decorating style that caters to (compromises?) both our tastes: "Modern Organic" We bought this vase because it fits our newly identified style. When assembled, it really does look like the picture and adds an earthy feel to the room, without looking "rustic". It has great proportion, height and color and is packed really well to avoid damage during shipping. A few things to consider before buying: 1. Although it looks great, it requires quite a bit of assembly. It took me about 40 minutes to get it looking like the picture. The Mitsumata branches come in natural form and need to be shaped before being arranged in the vase. The instructions suggested soaking them in the tub for a few hours first, but I found that running hot water on the parts that need to bend works well. Just be gentle so you don't break them. 2. The vase is described as "black" but is not a true black. I liked the color shown in the picture and hoped it wasn't darker than that, and it's not. It's as pictured. 3. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the black branches that you fill in between the white branches. They're covered in glitter. I'm not a glitter kind of person. It isn't visible in the picture and probably would have kept me from buying. But it's subtle enough and doesn't bother me too much. I figure I can easily buy some less flamboyant branches at the craft store if the sparkle starts to catch my eye. But be forewarned and place some newspaper on the floor while you're putting this all together.

The item I received looks just like the picture shown. The instructions given to put this together were very detailed and I achieved the look that I was wanting. It looks great. It is unique and striking. Love it!

This is one of those items that looks exactly the same in person as it does on the computer. The only issue we ran into is that all of the branches stick into a foam square that fits in the vase. Only problem is, when you push the branches into the block, the block goes deeper into the vase and you cant pull it up. So we solved this problem by stuffing newspaper/magazine pages into the vase first, so the block sat on top of it. It looks great in our living room, and was a great buy for the price! The white branches are fragile, so you have to be gentle when handling them. The "moss" that comes with it gets everywhere, so put something under your workspace. I would recommend this to a friend.

This product was super easy to put together,it was exactly what I was looking for to take my bedroom to the next level it was delivered on time and the white branches were just what I needed to make the vase pop. The draw back for me was I didn't realize when ordering that their was only one vase.

THis thing is ok. Kinda disturbing how this cheap cardboard tube just sits ontop of a bag of sand to hold the hideous green Styrofoam block. IT is worth about 20 dollars at the max.. YOU pay almost $$$. It looks nice once up and after u soak the branches, BUT, the UGLY cheap GREEN styrofoam that u stick the branches into is HIDEOUS. The brown moss-like stuff they give u is not nearly enough to cover up that big ugly green foam block. It needs 2-3 times MORE. Off to go get some. I'm dissapointed overall. I've ordered 2 comfortorrs, down, also from o.co and they both had the same damn problem of down feathers coming out, the 4 pillows i got are deformed after one year as well. O.Co u owe me a refund at least, because my reviews are even worse for u on Facebook....O.co should be Overpriced.co

I love this product. A gorgeous accent to my bedroom decor. I do recommend soaking the branches in water as they recommend to do ,but found I could manipulate them only after 20- 30mins rather than wait the standard 1-2hrs. It is art so take the time to put it together just right to accent the space.

I had ordered several floor vases from different places and they all came damaged, so when I saw this vase was wooden I was very happy to order it. It came with the branches which I used somewhere else because I already had what I wanted to put inside. The vase is very simple and sleek and is perfect where I put it. No problem with ordering or shipping.

As I assembled this product, I actually started laughing. It's cheap, lightweight, and cheesy looking. The lighter branches are not so bad looking, but the dark branches are covered with glitter. The floor vase itself is poor quality, accompanied with a note that instructs the user to use a dark magic marker to fill in scratches, should they occur. This product was disassembled and returned to O.co faster than you can say "please pass the glitter." Thanks, but no thanks.

I looked all over the internet to find something to fill in the bare corners of my remodeled "Zen" dining room, and these pieces were exactly what my room needed. They came shipped securely and the instructions were fairly easy to follow. I would give at least a good 30 minutes for set up on each one, maybe a liittle more if you are going to soak the branches first to shape them. It looks so elegant and there's no right or wrong way to arrange them. This REALLY is a lovely set, but the one thing that could have been better was for the kit to include more of the floral moss to cover. No biggy, I just found the same dried plant moss at the local dollar (tree) store to fill in the rest of the space at the bottom of the branches and it's just fine. If you are considering this purchase, just do it! :-)

I was finally able to make mine look like the picture, but it took some time. The directions could be a little better, but once I figured it out it wasn't bad. Grated, I am not a gardener, so someone with more experience in the area may have an easier time. I was expecting this to be a very easy assembly, but there is a bit more to it. Also, the wood for the base is not very high quality, but works well for a simple decoration.

I purchased two and I still cant decide if I like the arrangmnts. Something was missing so I added filler from local craft store. That helped but im not sold on them. Some branches were broken as well. It is similar to photo but assembly is the key.

I order two of the 30 inch floor vases on April 1st; they were delivered April 2nd. The branches do look like the picture. I have not tried to wet and shape them yet. The vase it self is a little disappointing. You can see bulges where the nails are. I'm hiding the ugly side by the wall. I like what it did for my dining room.

I have an office with no windows but wanted something "organic" for the corner and knew no plant could survive. I saw this and thought it might fit the spot. IT IS PERFECT. Looks amazing, easy to assemble, adds height to the corner as well as interest. I love it.

The product was as promised except the bag of sand was not included. A phone call to Overstock took care of that and they refunded me the amount it would cost me to go buy the sand. The arrangement is as pictured and looks great in a local restaurant we are decorating.

Looks nice. Minimal, chic look.Easy to assemble, although some additional filling material for the vase should be provided (i used newspaper).The price is possibly a little too high for this object. However, I overall like it and looks good in my living roon
