a great buy
A great bed at any price for a kid. My 3 year old granddaughter loves it and sleeps through the night right from, the get/go. The only downside was the time it took to put it together; i.e. it took two of us a couple of hours. Once it is assembled it is absolutely rock solid. I highy recommend it, especially as a first full size bed for a toddler.

White Metal bed for Granddaughter
I bought this bed for my granddaughter in Pasadena Tx. My son said it was very easy to put together, and is strong enough to take the punishment of my 2 1/2 yr old Granddaughter. Very good investment.

Good while it lasted
After the lower floor of our home was flooded last month, we had to find replacement beds and mattresses for our five children on a tight budget. I ordered two of these beds for our daughters. Delivery took about 8 days from the time we ordered which was fine because we still had to repair drywall, throw away ruined carpeting, get new flooring installed, etc. The new beds arrived before the flooring was finished, so they sat in our living room for about a week and a half before we assembled them (last week). Assembly was simple and straight forward. I thought all was well until my daughter just handed me one of the support legs (from the middle) of her bed. It fell off and she was in hysterics for about 20 minutes (it would have to happen to the drama-queen daughter's bed. Sigh.) I am now about to embark on my first journey through Overstock.com's return policy to see if I will be returning as a customer in the future. I hope this is resolved quickly and easily, but we shell see.
