    I love my new white bed. It's sturdy and it's well made. The fabric is padded and has a nice soft cushion when I rest on it to read at night. Assembly literally took me minutes and I am not handy at all. My bedroom is complete. Thanks for the value. I recommend it.

  • I love my new bed.

    So I wasn't even looking for a bed when this popped up on Overstock but how can you resist when the price is so low. When it arrived I was concerned perhaps the quality was just OK but it really is well made and the white leather is so soft and thick. My bedroom has been transformed. My mattress fits perfect and I am so happy it arrived in 4 days from when I ordered. All in all it was an easy quick transaction with a great quality bed.

  • Great quality and color

    I must have searched for 3 months for a white bed. every time I looked for one they were real expensive. This is so well constructed and the leather is really soft and has a nice cushion to it. My dresser and nightstand is white and they match real well. Great value!

  • Nice bed

    The bed looks great. Well constructed, and goes perfectly in my modern bedroom with white laminate contemporary furniture. It was easy to assemble (under an hour).

    • How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Fine. Other reviews have said the bed was not bright white. I have very bright white laminate furniture in this room. I will say the bed is not quite as bright white, but not off enough to not look good.
    • Please tell us about the quality of the product. Seems to be well constructed and easy to assemble. My 350 lb. relative was a house guest recently. Held up fine.

  • Beautiful bed

    Love the bed. Price was excellent. I've been shopping for a white bed for awhile and just couldn't find one cheap enough. This one is well priced and very elegant. Quality exceeds expectation. Easy to assemble, color was right on, overall beautiful bed.

  • im pleased

    I ordered this bed and it surprisingly shipped in 4days it was very easy to assemble and looks great.my only complaint is the cheap wood slats that are suppose to support the bed one actually broke after a day but a 3$ trip to lowes for a few slats for better support has made this bed a great purchase it looks do classy and has a soft feeling leather like material.

Hello, soledad1608. Hope your day is going well. We apologize for the confusion. The box spring debate today is confusing since even the "experts" can't agree. The general consensus of today is that with a decent foundation, a box spring is optional for a REGULAR bed, especially as a report on the news stated that the typical box springs these days are little more than frame boxes, anyway. I ordered this bed frame and just had a couple questions about it before I order the mattress: -If not--just wanted to clarify. The base board surrounding the bed is 10" deep? I assume the box spring drops in and is not visible? -What is the length of the black poles--between the base board and the start of the leather headboard? -What is the total height of the leather headboard (not including the black poles)? The box spring for me sits above the surrounding base board. The black poles are actually an espresso colored wood, with my bed, the box spring and the mattress cover the wood slats and really make the bed look more spa like. kolson8272 on Mar 14, 2013
 
 
This bed looks great. But before ordering it, I need some clarification after reading the dimensions, the Q&A's, and looking at the displayed photo. Are there slats supporting the box spring, if not, what is the support system? The bed requires both a boxspring and mattress, right? The bed box is 10" from floor to top of upholstered rail, correct? The height of the headboard is 37" inches, yes? Something doesn't add up. Does the boxspring sit down in the bed box? It appears that the distance of the upholstered headboard shown is just about the same as the top of the mattress down to the floor. By chance, is the 37" height measurement just for the upholstered area of the headboard and doesn't include the wood posts? I want to be able to see the upholstered headboard and also be able to lean up against it while reading. I really want this bed to work, so please help with my questions and concerns! What you have will suffice for the frame, would it be too high depends on your preference, also how much would show overall dimensions are 37" inches high minus your 18.5" you have 19.5" clearance. overstockcustomercare1 on Sep 20, 2012
 
Can you please clarify the answer below? 37" high minus 18.5" mattress/boxspring leaves 18.5" clearance, but how high up are the support rails from the floor? for example, if the support rails are 12" off the floor, this would mean only 6.5" of headboard would be showing. tlc1973 on Sep 20, 2012
