I always love my purchases at Overstock.com and this one did not disappoint. I was concerned about the instructions -- needs at least 2 people -- but I put it together easily, by myself. It is a great addition to my bedroom.

If you're going for the look and not planning to put too many heavy books on these shelves, it is perfect. I paired it up with a white josephine desk from cost plus and the colors match pretty closely with the desk being a bit on the glossy side. Overall, very impressed, it serves its purpose (decorative to hold items on display) for a fraction of the cost at your brand name stores. FYI, it took me a little while to decide on getting the set but took that leap of faith and i'm happy with my decision.

I have been looking for shelves like this for a long time, and finally just purchased these because I NEEDED something. I am generally happy with the look and function of the shelves. They are sturdy, and I have books on the bottom three shelves and its not a problem. I put my shelves together with two friends, so three people total, and thought that it would have been really difficult to put them together without the help of TWO people.

As usual, arrived timely and in good condition. Struggled a little to put together, would be easier with another pair of hands. Shelves have rim around sides and back. Good paint job on the wood. Feel very sturdy but would not weigh them down with something heavy except on the bottom shelf. One of the nice features is they are easily moved to another location as needed.

These shelves are great! I put them together myself very easily (in under an hour). I used an electric screw driver, and they went together very easily, and the instructions are very clear. They are a pretty good height, and they look excellent. I really like them. The only thing is maybe if you have kids or have them somewhere where they can be knocked, you might want to anchor them to the wall since they aren't very heavy.

Started a bit nervous because I live alone and it states requires 2 people to assemble. I edited the instructions and completed one side at a time and had no problems at all. Very easy to follow and they look beautiful. Prompt delivery. Just what I expected.

I really like these shelves. They actually come in 2 boxes so you split them up if desired or put them together. The shelves are a good size, big enough to put a good size basket on the bottom few shelves. They are white, but not totally stark white- slightly off white. The color is just what I was hoping for. They are going to look excellent filled with pretty things and add a fun, eclectic look to the room. I am very pleased with the price and the look of these shelves. You can't beat overstocks' prices and shipping!

These are really nice. I bought one a few years ago thru **** in the espresso color. These are the same and got 2 for much cheaper!! They're a great price, wish I would have bought my other here last time!

Order arrived very quickly. The double shelf works great in our young son's bedroom. We purchased to have a place for all his trophy's, legos and misc. small display toys. We are happy with the unit. Make note though the shelves are "wood like" not real wood so it's not as sturdy as it looks in the picture so we won't put heavy things on it but that is ok for our use. It is a nice space saver against the wall as the shelves are narrower as they reach the top, which is pretty high at 70 inches. Overall, this is a great inexpensive piece for displaying items and keeping them off the floor for our child. We were able to put together in less than 1 hour.

This is second set of ladder shelves I have purchased. Again, the packages arrived on time and in great shape. These are so easy to put together. One thing I did notice this time that there were a few marks in the paint job that were not evident in the other shelves I had ordered before. They are noticeable to me since I saw them putting the product together but I don't think anyone just walking in the room would. Over all, I am happy with my purchase.
