I really liked this toy bench until I tried to put the safety hinge on(last step). The hinge can't be the right size because it tears the lid off as you try to close it. I contacted the company, they sent a replacement lid and hinge but the same thing happened. I'm returning it- too bad, because it's really cute. Don't buy this unless you don't mind buying extra parts for it to work .

We were disappointed with the workmanship and quality. When you adhere the spring loaded hinge, it actually is too strong for the hinges and ripped out the hinges. We had to buy all new hardware to be able to use product and drill new holes. Not an assembly for the average person.
