terribly dissapointed. received hamper with instructions to assemble. had problems assemblingand threw product out and purchased assemble product at bed bath and beyond. absolutey no reason not to send product asembled. you need long arms to assemble .will not order from you again.

This is a good hamper for what you pay for it. We shopped around for a hamper to match my daughters decor and all we found were very expensive hampers. This one looks as good as any of the expensive ones and was less than half the price. I don't think this is going to last a lifetime, or even close, but compared to what else is out there at stores like Crate & Barrel, or Pottery Barn, this is a steal.

I bought two of these. Assembly was quick and easy. Style and construction is nice. Very happy with this product.

I'm using this hamper as a "surround" to hide my kitchen garbage can. Sans it's lid, it's looks better than seeing a white lidded tall can with a black bag hanging out. It's an ok fix for a waste can disquise.

My husband put it together, but think it was pretty easy to assemble. But it's a lovely piece and would recommend it.

My shipment arrived without holes drilled in one of side panels for the hardware! Could not believe how cheaply made the item was. To Overstocks credit, they send out another one in 3 days. This is the first item I have purchased from Overstock that has not lived up to my expectations. The laundry bag inside sags and the lid will not stay open (so beware if you have young children). Not worth the price!

I ordered this with reservation, but it was delivered quickly and has turned out great. It did require some assembly but it was rather easy to put together. As someone else said it did look a little smaller than I pictured, but it seems to hold a lot of dirty clothes. It also has a wonderful finish that complements any cherry wood furniture. A classy way to hide dirty laundry.

I purchased this for my mother. She was very delighted with the appearance and size of the hamper. The only problem I had was in the assembly. There was a note to turn the cam nuts 180 degrees, but I struggled in this process. They didn't seem to want to turn that much. We are happpy with this product.

• How is the quality of the product? The quality of the finished product is good. If you want a heavier product, I'm sure it would cost significantly more.

I give this hamper 2 stars because it IS a hamper, so it does what it says it's going to do. The rest of the stars were lost to warped wood, badly scratched top and front piece, missing hardware and, in general, very low quality materials. This hamper is overpriced and NOT worth the money.

You get what you pay for. Overall looks nice and does the job. Could be a bit sturdier. A piece of the hardware was broke, so I had to find a replacement at the local hardware store. Luckily I found one.

I am quite pleased with this hamper in every way. It looks like furniture, which is what I was hoping for. The delivery came promptly as well.

I really like the laundry hamper. However, the locking screws weren't very good quality and we had to purchase more at Lowes and it cost another $20. Seems like it didn't make it a good deal after we had to purchase those.

I had difficulty putting this together, but it looks great and works well with my decor.

I had been searching for a laundry hamper that looked more like furniture than a basket. Many of the basket ones I viewed just looked cheap! I finally found this one on overstock and thought it would be a pretty way to conceal the laundry. My husband set it up and it looks great in our bathroom! The reason I gave it 4 stars is because it came slightly damaged...it wasn't packaged well and in being thrown around during shipment, one of the parts in the box kept rubbing up against one of the panels, in turn scraping some of the paint and scratching it. I was debating returning it, but my husband said he would fix it. This is the third time I am dealing with a damaged item because it was not packaged well and/or the delivery was bad...

We just received the unit via UPS and the first thing I noticed was that it was very heavy for being made out of "solid wood". Some of the decorative panels are almost see though. For the price paid, we were expecting more. We will put it together and see how it works. It looks as expected - just thought it would be a little bit more substantial.
