poorly constructed
Unfortunately, the one I received wasn't of even passable quality. Many pieces were horribly put together and couldn't even be used. WIth the usable pieces, I assembled the shelves, and once assembled, it was incredibly wobbly, even when secured against the wall. I ended up tossing the whole thing in the trash - it wasn't worth the money or the time. Maybe I just got an aberrant product, because there were some decent reviews. But, I would not buy this product again.

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. poor quality. have the shelves were barely nailed together or were askew. couldn't even use several of them.
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? fairly accurate, but the piece when assembled was incredibly wobbly, even when secured against the wall had minimal stability

Great bookcase/shelf
I had a friend put it together for me. He also bolted it to the wall which I highly recommend because it's for a six-year-old girl. It holds books nicely and she uses the shelf for a desk all the time.

Great looking leaning desk
We ordered this for our daughter's room and it looks great. Doesn't take up alot of space. Holds alot of stuff. We are very happy with the quality. As always overstock was great with the shipping.

Good for the Money
We ordered this product for our den and it is definitely true to the pictures. It is not the sturdiest of pieces, but based upon other reviews we read we anticipated that. In order to increase it's stability and connect the pieces, we used our own longer screws and bolted them together and now it is a lot sturdier. Compared to the similar piece sold at a large outfit specialty store, you can't beat this price and the processing and shipping were fantastic as well. I would definitely recommend. It's a great space saver and looks great in our den!

nice, although desk is smaller than expected
I bought this piece for my 6yr old daughter's room. It looks great, provides ample storage and good use of space. We added screews to attach it to the wall at several points to add stability. Easy to assemble. I had bought the same three shelves-desk combo in brown for our home office. I looked at the picture and did not bother to ck dimensions. This one (white) is considerably smaller. I wish the desk were a little bit longer and provided more space. Other than that, we love the piece and looks very nice in a small size room.
