I've had this comforter for a couple of years and have not felt the need to "upgrade" to a more expensive one. It's the perfect weight for Southern California - cozy and warm in the winter time, and just warm enough for summer nights. I use it inside a nice quality duvet cover and because I saved so much on the comforter, I was able to splurge on the covers. Great buy, highly recommended.

We were laughing when the comforter arrived, and the package was TINY. My husband said, "that is a throw pillow, not a comforter." When I unwrapped it, it decompressed and miraculously, a king-size, fluffy comforter emerged. We were also laughing about the smell. STINKY!!! It is real goose or duck down, so it smells gamey. Pretty disgusting, actually. But I followed the advice of other reviewers: we draped it over some chairs on the back porch and left it there for a couple of days. I flipped it once to expose both sides to the air. I also sprayed with antimicrobial Febreeze for good measure, but I probably didn't have to do that. Sure enough, the stink was totally gone. We have had the comforter on our bed, inside a cotton duvet cover, for a couple of weeks now. We are very comfy! It was a fantastic bargain! Totally worth it.

I was very surprised at the quality of this product considering the price. I live in the south east and just wanted an all year down comforter. The product arrived very quickly and kept me very warm on the cold nights in my home i didnt even need to use heat in Jan. When it arrived it was vaccum sealed you just have to give it a good fluffing up. It was lightweight yet very warm great product dont be scared of the low price like i was at first the quality is still very good. Its not a huge thick conforter but if youre looking for something lightweigt and still warm its a great investment.

was a little skeptical to buy because of the mixed reviews but am so glad i purchased the down comforter! very affordable and exactly what i was looking for. took it out of the package and immediately washed in my own washing machine. it smelled a little foul because of the feathers but after the wash and a good spray down with some febreze the odor was gone and the comforter smelled and looked amazing on my bed. yes, it does make some noise but i have not had one down that wash completely silent. would recommend to anyone. A+

I have bought 4 of these. They are a great value for the money. Can be washed in machine even tho it says dry clean only. Would buy again if I need another comforter.

This is the greatest quilt. The price is unbeatable and has been the same for years! With this great price you get a 5 star quilt. Lightweight yet warm as toast, no need for a big heavy blanket , this one even keeps new englanders warm. I even put mine in the wash and fluffed it in the dryer. I have gotten 3 for myself and at least 3 as gifts, one was a wedding gift! Who can afford NOT to get this quilt, just hope your purchases don't make the price go up!

I have had this comforter now for almost 5 years, and wash it at least once/month. It not only still looks as fluffy as ever, but it the most comfortable item in my house! I highly recommend buying it...you can't beat the amazing price for a KING down piece of heaven!

Shipping was quick, and the smell of the comforter wasnt that bad. I followed the advice of one of the previous reviewers, and the smell went away within a day. When I fluffed it out the comforter wasn't as fluffy as I was hoping, but after a couple of nights in it I realized it's quite nice. Not too hot and not too cold. Perfect for southern California weather.

This comforter is light and pretty thin. Just perfect for 'cool' (not cold) Tucson nights. I have a comforter cover for it, so I could care less about the low thread count.

I expected some odors based on other reviews but there were no odors when unpacking. It fluffed up immediately and is wonderful and very warm. It's much longer than I anticipated, which is fine with me! I keep trying to think of an excuse to buy a second one for a gift. For the money, you can't do better.

Not as heavy as the one I had previously, but seems to keep us just as warm! We have had some 30 degree nights and are stingy on using our heater- this blanket keeps us as warm as we need to be!

This is a very comfortable, warm comforter! I would suggest to give it time-at first the material seemed to be a little stiff and you can hear it when you move (the material rubbing against itself makes a sound)..this passes as it is "broken in". It becomes soft and very comfy!!

I have owned one of these for 6 years now. Been with me from MS to TX to WA. I love my comforter. I just ordered a new one because it has been through a lot and just wanted a fresh white one and will save the old one for the guest room. Never been too hot or too cold with this awesome comforter.

The comforter is just as described. I decided to purchase a duvet cover set from Overstock to protect the product and let it be used for guests when needed. A bit heavier in weight than I expected. However, that did not deter from the value overall.

I bought this about 5 years ago and it's still in great condition. It was my first down comforter and is perfect for year round use. Warm and fluffy, great loft. Overall good quality and great value!!

It was a little thinner than expected but once i got a duvet cover it seemed to be just fine. I have had several friends asked where i got my "comfortor" and so for the price its not bad, especially great deal for slipping a little duvet cover on it. At nights i wake up almost sweating because it will warm me up!!

This is definately a DEAL! I bought two of these for my boys (ages 4 and 6) twin beds and they love them! They come in a very small package but suddenly fluff up within minutes. The material is not as soft as I had wished but once I put a duvet cover over it, it was perfect! It's not a heavy comforter but DOES keep you warm on these cold nights.
