Not good
from Memphis TN,  Jan 15, 2008

This compact vacuum was going to be a gift for my dauther. It is very disappointing that it has no power. We tried cranking the car hoping the vacuum would work better with a better power source but it didn't help. It just made a louder noise. Don't buy this if you want a good product.

DO NOT BUY
 Dec 28, 2006

This thing is worth about $4 total. It barely has any suction. It really has none. Ever have your dustbuster going, and the batteries are near dead? Thats the power of this thing. Big mistake for me to purchase. Buyer beware.

Finally a vacuum for my car to get all the little bits of junk that my kids and pets leave behind! I use it every day and bought a second one for my husband's car.

Good Value
from West Chester, PA,  Feb 16, 2008

The auto wet/dry vac works very well and will save lots of quarters by making the vacums at the car wash unnecesary. The brush attachent, however, could use some work as it was very diffcult to install and popped off during first use.

an average product
 from RI,  Jan 9, 2008

I bought this vacuum a few weeks ago, and have since used it to vacuum my cars. It's really light and portable, which are big pluses. However, I was really disappointed that the cord isn't long enough for me to vacuum the trunk of my car (it plugs into your car's 12V outlet). So, beware of that. Also, like everyone here is saying, the suction is not very strong; it picks up most debris but I ended up having to use my hands to pick up things the vacuum did not suck up. I have not used it for its other uses, so I can't comment about those. Conclusion: If you're looking for a small, portable vacuum for light jobs, then this is the vacuum for you. If you're looking for more suction/long cord length, this is not for you!

Cute little sucker...
from Oakton, VA,  May 16, 2007

Functions as advertised, but would benefit from stronger suction. Still, it got my floor mat area clean after a little work. Haven't tried the reverse (inflation, blower) mode. Small but adequate for automobile cleaning. A little difficult to set up--the brush attachment came in two pieces and they took some time to fit together properly (the illustration was not especially helpful). Slightly tricky to open and close the compartment (comes with the accessories inside it, so you get to find out about that first thing), which is how the grit/dirt/etc. you suck up gets emptied. Doesn't take up too much room in the car trunk or other storage area.

Its neither bad nor good... just so so. It doesn't have a lot of power and the hose is so ridged, its rather cumbersome to operate, BUT it is nice to have something to get up quick spills. However, if you need true vacuuming power, I would recommend that you keep shopping around.

Disappointing product
from Ocala, Fl,  Dec 21, 2009

Purchased as a gift for a family member anticipating this wet/dry vacuum to do what was expected. Very low quality, couldn't pick up sand without going over it numerous times. The hose keeps falling out. It didn't do the job in a well kept car! It's nothing more than a toy. Now, I feel bad for the recipient and disappointed as well.

powerful auto vac
from Central Coast, California,  Aug 9, 2009

This is the most powerful cigarette lighter socket powered vacuum I've ever had! It picks beach sand, straw and dirt out of the mats no problem. The crevice tool will pick up a coin. I am impressed.

Love it!
from Charlotte area, NC,  Aug 5, 2009

For regular cleaning, for the price, you can't beat this vacuum cleaner. The hose is a bit too rigid, making it hard to keep attached at times, but the suction is A-1! Small enough to stow in the trunk, it's a little workhorse of a machine.

low suction

unit low quality - low power for suction - cost too high for quality and power - would not work very well as a wet vac

Nice Vac for the price
from North Myrtle Beach, SC,  Jul 28, 2009

This little vacuum works just as I expected. It is great for maintaining a clean car. Suction is limited as are all car vacuums that plug into lighter adapter. The crevice tools and brush work well and I have no problem with the hose. There is a cloth mesh filter which can be removed for cleaning. This handy vac will not replace a big, powerful cannister vacuum. I can easily see saving the purchase price in quarters at the car wash in the first few months. I wish I had bought the five-pack of this product because they would be nice inexpensive gifts for friends. I highly recommend this product for touch up cleaning.

Wet/Dry Vacuum

This is a decent value for the product price. I do wish the hose was more flexible as it kept coming out of the vacuum but it is light and easy to use and clean.

Suprising little vacuum!
from kirkland WA,  Dec 24, 2008

I tried to get this wet/dry car vacuum at a local store, during "black Friday' sales. They were out. I ordered this one, and when I first opened the box, all pieces there, including a small nozzle, regular head that you can change out on the hose attachment. The canister clips open and shut. Plugs into any lighter (with power on)in your vehicle. I was impressed w/the suction power for a little vacuum. It's going to be great to just clean up those little messes, and it seems it's able to handle the dirt and regular stuff too. Rather than juggling my canister vac from the house, running out of extension cord.. and then there's the vacuum hoses at the gas stations and such, you run out of quarters and time before your car is clean. One thing, the attachments don't stay on as well as I would like, I have twisted them on, and they come with what I consider average pressure, so you have to keep reattaching the attachment, or go without when you are vacuuming a larger area. The only reason I gave -3- stars for durability, is because of the hose, it appears that it might have problems down the road, but I don't know that for sure. I do like the vacuum and I wouldn't hesitate recommending this to a friend.

Wet/Dry Auto Vacuum
 from VA,  Oct 29, 2008

A must have for all car owners. The unit is lightweight and offers good suction. There are no bags to replace. Simply dump the debris catcher when finished. If I could improve the item, I would add more flexibility of the hose (made of durable plastic) The unit would be perfect if the hose had a little more flexibility without sacrificing durability. Overall it is a great unit!

Wet Dry Vac
 from Chicago,  Jun 6, 2008

The vac is smaller than I thought it would be. We use it to vacuum out our cars. My husband complained that it didn't pick up rocks very well. I thought it did ok for the price.
