    I'm an old fashion guy who has no need for all the fancy, schmancy, over-priced coffee makers that do everything but make you breakfast. I have always used a percolator. After the one I had gave out after seven years of use i went to ****** and ******* to buy a new percolator. All they had were the over-priced fancy, schmancy over-priced coffee makers. Not a single percolator to be found. As usual I went to Overstock knowing they wouldn't disappoint. Sure enough they had what I wanted - an old fashion percolator and it was a fair price. It does what a coffee maker was meant to do - make coffee - without bells and whistles. I am very satisfied with my purchase!!!!

    No matter how much coffee I used , it came out very weak . The perk cycle was too short I think . When the coffee ready light came on , shortly after , it would shut off & start perking a few more times . I think the one I received was defective . Perhaps another working properly would be okay .
