I was strongly considering a $300+ mixer but this one is meeting my limited baking needs just fine. This mixer cost me less than a tank of gas so I consider it a good value as long as it last me longer than a tank of gas. It has been a couple months now since I bought it. I've used it twice and it still has not broken so I'm happy. Purchased the very cheap extended warranty just in case.

FABULOUS ... wonderful speed control & comfortable to work with! I purchased this product to replace my 45 year old hand mixer (I thought that I'd lost the blades-so I needed a new one). To my surprise, the old mixer and the blades showed up after my receipt of the new one purchased on Overstock. Well, I'm happy to tell you that the new mixer is much better than the old one. An important reason is that the mixer blades are longer, and enable more comfortable and smoother mixing. This is an excellent product!

This appliance is very lightweight and very easy to use. The price is affordable. I like the nice modern look of it as well.
