The new french press machine arrived yesterday; one word,"Cheap!" The idea is a good one, a hot water pot and a french press-all in one. The Water fill cover and the top of the press are made of cheap plastic! I can easily see my wife breaking these. It works adequately, nothing spectacular. I think I will utilize this for work and buy just a good quality press for at home. That way if it breaks nothing lost.One more thing what is up with not shipping to a FPO. I am active duty military stationed overseas. I had to order have it sent home and then shipped by family members to me here in Okinawa. With our limited access to American stores; internet shopping is a lifeline. Overstock is missing the boat on alot of money.ThanksNavy Corpsman in Okinawa

This one is not durable at all! It just stopped working after 4 months of use. I would say I used it to make 1 cup of coffee per day, so it was not used around the clock!Expected it to work for at least a year! Very disappointed!

Very good product except too much waiting in between , I guess used to drip coffeemaker on timer .

i was looking for something to make my teas.And this is the rigth one,the water mixes with the tea leaves, so no comparison with the flavor of the tea bags.Quick , convenient, and easy to clean. i guess that it is much better to make the coffee there too, much more tasty than the regular coffee maker. I put 4 starts because it is no 4 cups really , but it is just for me, because my husband prefers coffee so it is fine to me anyways.

Not what I expected. Coffee is always lukewarm and weak. Expected hot, espresso-type taste. Tried many different combinations of water and fresh ground beans and it never came out right. Still trying, though!
