What a great looking chair at a terrific value!...I was hesitant ordering sight unseen, but I am very happy with the result.

I bought 6 of these chairs. They look great around my dining room table -- very classy. My only reservations is that I couldn't get all of them level (and one was missing one of the foot pads), so that a couple of them wobble slightly. However, the way the chairs are balanced, this is only a problem if you're not sitting in them, and on the whole I don't mind. A great value. The assembly was slightly tedious but once it was completed I felt confident in their sturdiness. Also, just as fair warning, the assembly instructions (while not hard to figure out) are not written in good English, and they neglect to say (what should be obvious I guess) that you need to remove the shrink wrap seat covers before you attach the seats.

I had a Very Hard time committing to buying these chairs on-line because you can't hold/touch them. BUT I have NEVER been Happier with an on-line purchase!! They are better/nicer then the picture! Very Very Handsome Chairs!! Instructions could be better but once you figure it out, No Problem! P.S. Pad/Fabric is more of a Sage Color

I love these chairs. They were very easy to put together, my husband had all 4 done within 30 mins. The color is beautiful-- a little bit more reddish than the dark/almost black wenge "mui mui" table I have, but close enough. The fabric seat is darker than pictured, more of a taupe/dark khaki, but very neutral and nice. Fabric is covered in plastic, so can leave plastic on or take off. Thought it would be easy to recover, but doesn't look like it would be that easy afterall (I have re-covered dining chair seats before). But, I really don't need to, the color is so neutral, I think it would go with any decor.

I purchased the wenge chair after waiting for it to become available for close to 6 months. The chairs came without holes to screw the pads to the base. The fabric on the pad is very thin, on two of our chairs the fabric has split already. We have had them since May of this year. On one of the chairs the wood has split not sure why this is one of the chairs that gets little usage. I was really dissapointed in the quality of the item. Love the style, but quality is lacking.

First- I couldn't believe how easy it was to order and it came in a day and a half. The chairs look great! I was a little surprised the seat has a shiny plastic over the fabric. It does work tho. If I want I could change it, but it gives it a 50s look to me. If you want a contemporary look, buy them.

These chairs are awesome. I bought a set to go with a breakfast table I also bought from Overstock. I disagree with some of the other reviewer's comments about the chair not being sturdy - and there not being screw brackets.The chair consists of four pieces: back(with includes back legs, seat frame, fron legs (one piece), and seat cushion.The back, seat frame, and front legs are attached to each other with plently of sturdy screwing metal dowls and some wood dowls. The metal dowls screw into adjoining metal fixtures - so they are as sturdy as you'll get if you tighten them all the way.The seat cushion is attached to the seat frame via eight long wood screws - which is more than adequate.These chairs will last a good long time. Excellent value and craftsmanship.

These chairs, despite the information, are not MDF. They are real wood. The style is great.. The assembly was really no problem at all. The instructions weren't precise but the pictures will provide all you need. They ship fast and the price is fantastic. It was my first Overstock purchase but I will buy from them again for sure. I don't recommend anyone heavy sit in these chairs. The design doesn't lend itself to anyone heavy leaning back in them.

I bought four of these chairs for my nook area and they are really sturdy and nice looking, very contemporary. The color is a bit darker than what is shown in the pictures, which is great because it matched my espresso table. The assembly part was really easy, it came with all the tools necessary. The only drawback I could think of is the cushion, they weren't as thick and the back leg kind of stick out so I sometimes would kick them . The cushion fabric is a micro-suede type of fabric. Overall I give these chairs 5 stars!

I have an 'espresso' dining table and these chairs appear more cherry colored when next to it. They are great quality and very pretty, but the color wasn't a match and that is a little disappointing. Also, the cushion material is cheap. I recovered them before completing assembly anyway.

The chairs have a clean and sexy line to them. They were easy to assemble and look great! When I placed the order, I thought that I would change the fabric on the seats, but it seems durable and looks great. The wood is a little "grainy" and not as smooth as I would have wanted, but that is not a real issue. It actually makes the seat backs catch and reflect light in interesting ways.

I am not very pleased with the chairs. They have a good look to them but are not constructed very well. The design of the back legs leaves a little to be desired since everyone trips over them since they protrude way beyond the frame.

Yes these do require *slight* assembly and by slight, I mean just that. I'm a girl who's not exactly handy and I put them together just fine, all 4 of them over my lunch hour. They look WAY more expensive than what I paid for them. Great modern yet comfortable style. I thought they'd be just some inexpensive chairs I'd keep for a year or two but no, we love them so much, we're keeping them for a long while! Enjoy and dont hesitate.

We got these to be the end chairs for our dining room table and they're nearly perfect. So easy to put together! I think we had both done in under 20 minutes (using a power drill as the screwdriver). My only issue: they're a lot darker in person than they appear in the photo; much less of a walnut and much more of a brown-black or espresso finish. We hadn't yet purchased our dining table so we can change the color a bit but I did want a walnut finish.

These are the perfect addition to our dining area. I bought 6 to go around our new Ikea dining table. They are the perfect size (not too small but not overly bulky)...they give the area a very modern and classy look. The dark color is a perfect match for the "black-brown" finish on my table. I was concerned about previous reviews stating that the chairs were more "reddish" in color than they had anticipated. I don't find that they are red or "cherry" color....more of a deep dark brownish-black. I love the fact that I could easily recover them in the future if I need to. They are also pretty comfortable....Where else can you get 6 chairs for under $400 including shipping. Especially ones with the quality and look of these. Thanks Overstock!

Very nice chairs and for the price you can't go wrong. Just remove the plastic before you install the seat cushions.

I love the way the back of the chairs curve. The chairs arrived on time, very well packaged, and undamaged. My husband had all four chairs put together very quickly. The only thing I did not like about the chairs was the plastic that upholsters/ covers the faux suede seat material. That was a very quick fix though. Other than that, the chairs are very comfortable to sit on and look a lot more expensive than they were. I would definitely buy again.

You get a lot of chair for the price. They look great and are not that difficult to put together. Took me about an hour for both chairs using simple tools (you can also use the provided tools). The seat wasn't as difficult to put on as other reviews mentioned - just lay the seat upside down on a table-top and set the chair over it, line it up and drive the screws in. It's pretty sturdy but heavier people will stress the chair. The finish is darker than the pictures indicate but that's not a big deal. They match well with the Sorrento dining table sold here. I ended up buying three sets to complete my dining room. The only downside is that the back legs stick out pretty far and people end up accidentally kicking them. Still, not really a big deal - just part of its design.

I absolutely love my chairs! I ordered 6 chairs and they were delivered to my home within a matter of a couple of days and right before Thanksgiving just as promised. My 11 year old son put all six chair together for me and that shows how easy there were to put together. In the light, the chairs had a slight hint of a reddish undertone to the wedge chairs but they still complimented my wedge table just fine. The padding on the chair was darker than the pics but they actually matched my walls perfect in my dining room. My family along with myself also love the arch in the back of the chairs because it really gives great back support. My dining room now has a great contemporay look at a fraction of the cost of most comparable dining sets.
