Bought these chairs to go with a table i bought elsewhere...they are just what i wanted!! They are a little darker than the pics make them look but that is what i was hoping for! Sleek modern style...these chairs are great!

We purchased these chairs to go with a table we purchased at another store. We like the modern look of the chairs. They are perfect for a small dining area. They were easy to assemble, could easily be done in 1 1/2. The only thing that was kind of disappointing were the color of the seat cushions, they appeared to be lighter in the picture. The cushions are a grayish tan color and are darker than what is shown in the picture. The chairs are actually a lot more comfortable than they look.

First- I couldn't believe how easy it was to order and it came in a day and a half. The chairs look great! I was a little surprised the seat has a shiny plastic over the fabric. It does work tho. If I want I could change it, but it gives it a 50s look to me. If you want a contemporary look, buy them.

These chairs are awesome. I bought a set to go with a breakfast table I also bought from Overstock. I disagree with some of the other reviewer's comments about the chair not being sturdy - and there not being screw brackets.The chair consists of four pieces: back(with includes back legs, seat frame, fron legs (one piece), and seat cushion.The back, seat frame, and front legs are attached to each other with plently of sturdy screwing metal dowls and some wood dowls. The metal dowls screw into adjoining metal fixtures - so they are as sturdy as you'll get if you tighten them all the way.The seat cushion is attached to the seat frame via eight long wood screws - which is more than adequate.These chairs will last a good long time. Excellent value and craftsmanship.

I bought 6 of these chairs to go wtih the Sorrento Dining table (also purchased from Overstock). They look great! The color is a very dark, brown (almost black). The curved back is not the most comfortable and the chairs probably cannot withstand a lot of weight. But since they are dining chairs they're only sat on for a short period of time. Assembly was fairly easy, except for attaching the seat to the base. You'll need someone to sit on the chair while you fasten the screws. Otherwise, great value for the price!

These chairs, despite the information, are not MDF. They are real wood. The style is great.. The assembly was really no problem at all. The instructions weren't precise but the pictures will provide all you need. They ship fast and the price is fantastic. It was my first Overstock purchase but I will buy from them again for sure. I don't recommend anyone heavy sit in these chairs. The design doesn't lend itself to anyone heavy leaning back in them.

This chairs have a very nice design. The sweeping back is not only very stylish, but it has an oddly comforting feeling on your back when sit in them. Probably the most comfortable back I've experienced in a dining chair. That said, the seats are horribly uncomfortable for any extended period. The seats are also a 1) annoying in assembly because it's a guessing game getting them centered, and 2) there aren't pre-drilled holes. The lack of reinforced holes in the seat cushion means the wood screws are also loosening with use. It's also possible to strip the screw in the seat when assembling. One final concern may just be unique to me: because of the sweep of the back, don't expect to place these chairs flush against a wall. My table abuts one wall and I normally pull the whole table out if I need a fourth. If I'm storing one of these chairs between the table and wall, it requires the table to stick out about 8 inches. Overall a fantastic value. I bought two more after the first two came. If the seat bottom starts to come apart, I might replace them with something of my own design, since its really the only weak point.

This is the second set of six chairs I have purchased. I bought the first set last year when I was helping my girlfriend redecorate/furnish her new home. I loved them so much, that I just finished assembling the second set for the dining area in my new cabin. They are beautifully shaped and the wenge color is gorgeous. The "mushroom" color microsuede seat cushions are neutral enough to go with any decor and add comfort to the chair. The assembly is very easy until you get to the seat cushions. There aren't any pilot holes on the bottom of the seats to align and help guide the screws. You definitely need someone heavy to sit on the chairs as you are on your back with a screwdriver attaching them from underneath. It gives you a glimpse of what Michelangelo went through to create his masterpiece in the Sistine Chapel!

Pictures don't do these chairs justice! They are beautiful, comfortable and an incredible buy. I purchased 2 sets (4 chairs in total) and will purchase another set. Very modern and contempory looking. I've already gotten several compliments on them. My Husband put them together in no time at all!

The back is so comfy and the seat isn't nearly as bad as some had commented. The chairs look sleek and expensive. My only issue is that they don't exactly match my table. I expected the wood to be chocolate in color but there is a hint of red in the wood which doesn't match my table. I like them enough to keep them anyway.

These chairs were the deal of the century, comfy and very stylish. The description on them is fairly accurate although you can't tell it's mdf - it looks and feels like wood. They are a little more reddish dark brown than I would have liked as I am matching to an espresso table purchased elsewhere but otherwise I really love them. Very easy to assemble and well engineered but I would recommend pre-drilling holes in the seats as that way you can screw them down easier and further. I am changing out the fabric as I wanted something with a little more pizzazz and it's just a snap with a staple gun.
