I have never felt more like the woman in Edouard Manet’s famous 1863 painting “Olympia” when I am lounging on this elegant chaise. It recalls an earlier time, a time of grace and civility. I purchased this chair for my boss's office 2 years ago, 2008. When it arrived, the photo of the chair on the website did not do it justice. It is BEAUTIFUL! After two years, it still looks like new. Yes, people sit and lay on it and it has kept its shape. It is the main attraction in the office. It was worth every penney and I have no regrets about making this purchase. LOVE IT!!

I received two of these chaises within one week of ordering so really fast-- the shipper was in a big hurry to drop them off and since i live in a three-flight walk-up I didn't unwrap them before signing--I hired someone to bring them upstairs for me and both had various holes in the leather and on one the frame was bent-- I called overstock customer service fearing the worst--buyer beware--and they not only arranged for two more chaises to be delivered, "gold service" (=carried up the stairs and unpacked and assembled)--but they also had a separate shipper come and get the damaged ones. all for no extra charge--I am very impressed and do all the shopping I possibly can on overstock from now on--thank you bernadette Q in customer service for making me a loyal customer.

This piece completed my living room furniture upgrade & it is gorgeous. Very well made & looks sophisticated. Only note...the fabric is light plum & a little shiny, not brown as it looked on my computer. Added some sassy pillows & totally pleased with the purchase.

This came fast & seems quiet well made - however, there is a pink/wine/mauve tone in the fabric that isn't working in my room - I wish it had been more of just the brown color family. Hard to tell color from photo - but should be considered. It feels surprisingly solid & comfortable.

This chaise looks SOOOOOOO good in my sitting area. I feel like a queen. Very pretty.

I had to talk fast to get my husband to agree to purchase this chaise, but he?s almost happier with it than I am. It is gorgeous?definitely the focal piece of our living room and we have to negotiate every night to decide who gets to use it. The color of the fabric is so nice and it combines will with the leather. I couldn?t be happier with this purchase.

This is a beautiful piece of furniture. It came extremely well packed and the only thing we had to do was screw the legs on. The leather and the fabric are nice and it is very comfortable. The only thing that wasn't apparent in the picture was that the fabric has a silvery sheen to it from various angles. It really lightens up the dark chocolate color. Overall, we like it very much.

The Wellington Chaise is beautiful. It arrived quickly and the delivery service coordinated with me the time of delivery and they were very professional. The chaise is large both my 10 year old grandson and I can lounge comfortably for story time when he visits. The quality is excellent. I wasn't sure if I would like the fabric and leather mix it seemed contemporary to me and I usually favor more traditional pieces. But I didn't want a chaise that was too feminine for my master bedroom. My interior designer thought it went very well with my traditional pieces and I am so pleased. I would highly recommend this chaise for the very high end look and the quality of the piece. I am very pleased.

I wanted to change out my living area with smaller furniture. I bought this along with Cole's leather sofa and chair. The pieces really look nice together...There seem to be no different in the leather coloring. I love my new living area. It was very easy to put together. I only had to screw on the leg(twice..actual leg then than a screw to stablize)...Shipping was much quicker than I thought it was going to be.

Awesome piece to have. Buyer beware. I live in Midtown Manhattan in a 21st floor high rise apartment building. Oversize policy items are delivered at the curbside of your street. Will not deliver to apartment unless other charges are applied before delivery date. Was delivered by FedEx and was clocked at 80lbs. Was not prepared but did what I had to do. This should have been specified by Overstock and the shipping freight company before delivery and order confirmation. Did not find out until the delivery arrived and the driver called and told me I can come down and get it. I had no help and no equipment and had to get equipment ant the last minute and payed one driver to assist. All in all the end product looks incredible with my brown leather sectional.

everyone who said it was uncomfortable must have just put it together wrong or something because it might not be the most comfortable thing but it works. and it looks great in my room. I haven't had it for long though so maybe it wont be that good in 6 months but its good now.

Beautiful, comfortable, easy to assemble, ergonomic and touchable fabric. I always wanted something like this for my bedroom to have a place to lounge for reading or watching tv without having to lay in bed. The size is perfect, very comfortable, and the price is bonus!

I just received my new chaise. I love it. Great chaise and it is so comfortable I tend to want to nap on it. I could not believe we get could such good quality leather/fabric chaise at this price. It was made in China, however, the value is really worth it and I have been looking for something to have next to the fireplace and this is ideal. Overall absolutely love it and the delivery was quick.
