While I did not expect more than a simple mosaic painting, this was, at least to me, less than acceptible, and I decided not to add it to my new shower tiling.

These hand painted tiles are quite vibrant. I will install them behind the kitchen sink in the house we are building because there will be no window there. I thought a view of a scene looking outdoors would be more fun than staring at a blank wall while doing dishes. The tiles I received were the same scene as the one pictured, but slightly different, as they are all hand painted and will vary. The color of the water in the background was not painted as well as the picture shown and I was a bit dissapointed in that as we just moved off a sailboat and are now living in the desert. I thought a view of the water would be nice, but I can live with that as the rest of the scene is nice. I was very impressed with the care in the packing of the tiles for shipping and none were damaged. The only thing to be warned about is that they are actually shipped from Tunesia, not from Overstock.com, and if you do not like the tiles and want to return them you will be faced with international shipping costs....too much for me to bother with so I will just keep them even though I was just a bit dissapointed in the painting of the water. But the price is quite good compared to other tile murals that I have researched and you can't beat the $1 or $2 shipping costs to receive them.
