I am so glad I bought this pillow. It makes all the difference in the world. I had gotten to the point where I was sleeping in my recliner because I couldn't sleep lying flat. What a great nights sleep I get now. I highly recommend this pillow to anyone with acid reflux problems.

I suffer from GERD and, although on medication, still sometimes am up at night due to reflux. I shopped around for wedges and found this same item at other locations at a much higher price. Given the shipping, timeliness, and quality of the product, there was no question where I would get it. I have been pleased - cannot even tell it is on the bed as the bottom is so thin. We use down comfortors, so the extra 5 inches at the top, when covered by pillows look fine. Most importantly, I can lie down and have no reflux - that is the important thing. I'm very pleased with the product.

I have terrible acid reflux, associated with diffuse systemic scleroderma, and not only need the bed wedge, but have to elevate the head of my bed 4" as well.This wedge is long enough so it raises my body in a gentle elongated way and I don't awaken with the wedge on the floor--it stays in place because most of my body is on it.Yes, I do put my foam contour pillow under my head, and when the acid reflux is still bad, I add another pillow or three to that--but this wedge is perfect for my needs.

Before I got this pillow I would wake up a few times a night with acid reflux. Since I got this pillow I have slept all night without any problems. I would recommend this to anyone who has acid reflux. The only problem I could find is that the foam pillow breaks down after about a year of use.

I have acid reflux and a hiatal hernia, and my husband has sleep apnea and uses a machine. I was not getting good results sleeping on three pillows at night. I sent for a wedge pillow and have had very good results, so I sent for a wedge pillow for my husband and he also thinks that the wedge pillow has made a difference. I am very pleased with the wedge pillow and Overstock.com.

The Doctors have always recommened elevating my head for control of GERD. I have tried numerous wedges, multiple pillows and even blocks under the headboard. Each method has produced sliding down while asleep (apparantly to get my body level) This wedge is designed with a slant gentle enough to remain comfortable and large enough to accomodate. turning over while asleep. So far the GERD has been a lot better. I like to sleep with my arm under a pillow which I can still achieve by placing my down pillow at the high end. The slope is such that It slants to almost nothing and that prevents a bump where it ends. It is very comfortable. It would be helpful if I could have an extra pillowcase.
I ordered the Bed Wedge, I have back problems..not heartburn etc. Anyway...When my BW came, it was missing the top layer. (which looks like egg carton) Description states clearly that it has 2 layers. I contacted Overstock.com and customer service was very nice in helping me through process of returning it. They quickly sent me another one, but unfortunately it also was missing the top layer. I sent it back also and was refunded almost immediately when they received it. If you have ordered one...you may be missing the top layer also. It pays to inspect before using.

I received this pillow yesterday and got the best nights sleep. No acid reflux or gerd symptoms and I normally would have had a very bad night since I had a few glasses of wine. The size is wonderful, very roomy and large both width and length so you don't roll off when turning on you side or slip down because it goes from the small of your back all the way up. This also prevents back pain you can get with the steep incline that starts half way up your back on some pillows. I just love it.

For the past ten years I have had to get up at 3:30 to 5:30 AM several times a week because of sinus headaches. It would take about 1 1/2 hours for them to drain and ease the headache so I could go back to bed. The pillow was bought for acid reflux and I hoped that it would help my sinuses to drain better. I am very happy to say that since I started sleeping on the pillow my headaches are mild and begin close to regular getting up time. I am now getting enough of sleep each night.

I ordered this wedge pillow for my husband who is currently undergoing chemotherapy. He needs to sleep elevated because of sinus issues and acid reflux issues. Overall the pillow works well because it is fairly wide and long enough so that he doesn't slide down too badly. He does feel; however, that the pillow would be better if it were thicker and elevated him higher. He has a pillow under the wedge head area and another pillow on top of the wedge to give extra elevation.

I absolutely love this pillow. I suffer from severe GERD and sleep was always interrupted with terrible heartburn. Since I got this pillow I have slept through the night for the first time in ages. It has just the right amount of lift to your upper body and it tapers down to almost nothing so you don't feel a bump in your back from the end of the pillow. I paired this one of the gussetted memory foam pillows and I very HIGHLY recommend this one.
