  • disappointed with lids

    I bought this product in June 2014 and I would not purchase it again. The rubber under the lid grip cracks and liquid gets under the black rubber. Now every time I use the pan with a lid I have to unscrew the lid and drain the water. If I don't remove the water it just accumulates and then slowly leaks from the lid. This is not sanitary and it is a constant chore to keep unscrewing the lids and draining the water. Even on lids where the rubber has not already cracked, water gets under the black rubber and I still have to unscrew the lid to remove the water. The handles are comfortable but water collects under the rubber piece. I am requesting a refund of my purchase.

    I purchased this set as a apartment warming gift for young working couple. I own a few of the skillets and they have held up well. They can take throwing into the dishwasher and banging around. The price was excellent and you definitely get value for your money. For a young couple that does not do a lot of fancy cooking this set is perfect.
