I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR QUITE SOME TIME FOR A NIGHTSTAND JUST LIKE THIS....WE ARE SO PLEASED WITH EVERYTHING ABOUT IT....IT ARRIVED WITHIN A WEEK IN PERFECT CONDITION WITH ALL OF ITS PARTS....MY HUSBAND PUT IT TOGETHER IN A HALF AN HOUR WITH NO PROBLEMS....THE COLOR IS GORGEOUS ...EXACTLY WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PICTURE...I LOVE THE ROOMY DRAWERS THAT GLIDE SO NICELY & THERE IS ALSO PLENTY OF TOPSIDE AREA FOR PHONE, LAMP & CLOCK WHICH IS WHAT I WANTED....THE FINISHING TOUCHS ARE THE DRAWER KNOBS....THEY SET IT OFF PERFECTLY....I WOULD TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE & AM GOING TO PURCHASE MY 2ND ONE SHORTLY...
We bouht the nightstand(2), bed(1) and the armoire(1). Very very nice pices of furniture. The boxes set in our basement for over five (5) months. When we were ready to assembly them, everyting was in great shape, no problems with anything. Once assembled it appear to look like very high end furniture. However, the armoire doors do have a pretty big space between the two door. I'm hoping I can fix that. Other then that very nice furniture, very heavy.
I purchased these night stands to use as end tables in my Asian-inspired living room. These are well-made, heavy, nicely-finished pieces that would cost much more int he furniture store. They take quite a bit of time to assemble, but it is well worth your patience. I recommend these tables highly.
Oh! the drawers glide so easily and enough to hide away clutter. It wan easy to assemble compared to most other things I have had to put together. My only regeret is the color is darker (black) than I expected, but still decided to keep it.
This dresser looks great with one minor thing - the handles are too shiny and cheap looking. I couldn't find handles to fit the predrilled holes, so I had to spray paint the ones that came with the nightstand to make them look more like oil-brushed metal. It worked and I am happy with the new look. The quality of the wood and the workmanship is great. I browsed through a dozen furniture shops before I bought this one and couldn't find anything so nice for this price. I also bought the dresser and it wasn't hard at all to assemble the pieces. The instructions were great. It was just time-consuming. But I did everything alone, without any help.
