I was really impressed after getting this product. First off it arrived at my house within 1 week of ordering. It was packed very securely. And yes, like everyone else has said you assemble this line of products piece by piece. Every screw, dowel, drawer track etc. But if you read the directions it is quite easy for someone with any sort of do it yourself type of skill. Everything is labeled with letters or numbers so it is very easy. I assembled them all by myself (bed, dresser, chest and nightstands). Two people would make it much easier to assemble the larger pieces as they are quite heavy. The drawers do come with metal tracks so they slide nice. The top, sides and front are made up of solid wood, which in my opinion is closer to black than expresso but I was still very happy with the finish. The interior drawer pieces are made up of a heavy MDF which I am not too fond of but they seem pretty sturdy. The backs are also not solid wood so make sure you will not see the back of the furniture where you are planning on placing it.

My husband and I were using nightstands that were very small and had only one drawer in them. These Waynesborough nightstands are a godsend. Three roomy drawers, an attractive design and enough room on top for a lamp, book, baseball cap and even my jewelry box. The assembly instructions were easy to follow and it took us less than two hours to put both nightstands together. Just be sure to have a rubber mallet on hand because you will need to pound the wooden dowels securely into the holes. Despite what some reviewers said, I think the drawer handles are lovely. They are shiny but they look very classy. We also bought the matching dresser and couldn't be happier with this set. The price can't be beat.

Easy to assemble. Great height if you have a pillow top mattress. Wasn't too fond of the drawer pulls (like most everyone else), but those can be replaced. It is pretty heavy, so I suggest assembling close to where you plan on placing it. Otherwise, you will be lugging it across the house like I had to. There were some issues during the drawer assembly - wood splitting when screws were drilled in. A little wood glue and clamps fixed that issue. Other than that, very nice looking nightstand.

We are going to be using this as a bathroom vanity rather than a nightstand. It seems to be pretty well made. The outer parts are all heavy, solid wood making it a solid piece. It's exactly what we needed and we weren't disappointed when we received it. Not too difficult to assemble, although you need a certain sized hex key which we didn't have. All in all, if it looks like what you want in the picture, you won't be disappointed if you order it.

This product is well designed and made of solid materials. It did take some effort to assemble but feels sturdy and well made, especially compared to other "assembly required" furniture. This was a good purchase.

We bought two of these nightstands, along with two matching five-drawer chests. They all arrived together & in a timely manner. We feel we made the right choice (once we got them together), but the ease of assembly was not as easy as we would have liked. My husband's handy, but getting the drawers to glide with ease took some time.

I really like the Waynesborough line and this piece is no exception. It has plenty of room for storage and I am really glad I bought it.

It came in a box with a lot of pieces and was overwhelmed when I opened it, but it went together very easy. I would like to get another, however, I am disappointed that there are no longer anymore in stock.

I still have not opened all of the boxes from this order, it was for a spare bedroom and got put in there to be assembled. Door closed, you get the picture. I am missing drawer slides for one of the side tables and am going to try to remedy that situation right now. Will let you know how it comes out.

I've used this bedside table four years now. The assembly was not difficult, but it was time-consuming. My husband and I did it together after I laid out and identified all the parts and figured out the process we should use. I am very pleased with the size and quality of the doors--they glide smoothly and the velvet lining in the top drawer is a nice feature. I am well pleased with this purchase. I especially appreciate how it matches the height of our rather high bed. A lower stand would not have worked.

Not a bad nightstand if you can understand the directions. I ended up drilling holes in the front of the drawers following the directions by the time I had finished, not too attractive anymore. I will get some filler for the holes. Drawers are too small to really be useful for underwear or clothes and don't pull out very far. I guess you could put medicine or something you needed within reach from the bed that was small but much too small for clothes.

I ordered four of these nightstands after a flood in our home had destroyed our other furniture. They arrived about four days later and the shipping was free! I finally got around to putting them together after they had sat in my garage for a couple of months. My initial attempt went very well until I realized I had the front and back mixed up. After recovering from this mistake, the assembly of the others went very well, but was a little time consuming. Pay very close attention to the instructions and you should be ok (note - the groove goes in the back for the back panel). The end result was a beautiful product that was very well worth the effort. You can't come close to the quality of these night stands for the money anywhere else. Thanks Overstock for another great product and the fantastic service.

Took some time to assemble but was not difficult. Pre-drilling is required for the drawer slides or else you may split the wood. Looks very nice and has great storage with the 3 drawers.

I bought two of these sidetables for my bedroom. Each one took probably 2-3 hours to assemble...it wasn't hard, just lots of different pieces and slightly tedious. However, now that I have them both together, they look awesome in my room. They are very heavy, but thats good because its actually real wood. I thought I might not like the handles at first, but once I saw them in person they look really good and complement the piece nicely. The drawers are fairly large so they are great for extra storage space which is exactly what I was needing. Overall I'm very pleased with these tables and would recommend them to anyone!

we ordered two of these nightstands and they went together fairly easily, each one taking a little over an hour. they look great- love the three drawers and the pulls are so chic. We are really loving the extra storage space and the large top with room for a lamp and books or a clock. Great piece!

I had purchased the whole bedroom set and am so happy I did!! It does take two people to put together with a little skill, but was simple enough with great directions. We did use Elmers wood glue to ensure durability. We put the entire set together in one day.

The night stand is great. It was a great price and the quality was great. I actually ended up ordering 3 more. One thing to keep in mind is the amount of time needed to assemble the night stand (1.5hrs).
