Love this furniture!!
I purchased the 9 drawer dresser, 6 drawer chest and 2 night stands. The furniture is beatiful. It is very dark-almost black. It looks sleek and modern and beautiful in the bedroom. The pieces are big, so make sure you measure before you buy. The drawer capacity if great compared to what I had before and they roll nice and easy. Assembly was not too hard, just time consuming. I think the first piece took about 3 hours, but once you get the hang of it they pretty much all go together the same way. I would definately buy this furniture again.

Beautifully made, but needs lots of assembly
This is a gorgeous dresser, very solid and well-designed. But be forewarned, it comes in three large, heavy boxes of pieces, and has to be totally assembled. It took my husband and me the better part of a day to do it, but I will say that the pieces were very well designed and cut, and everything fit together beautifully. It is almost black in color and fairly large, with nice-sized drawers. It's a heavy piece of furniture. I'd recommend it to anyone with the time and facility to do a full assembly (there were over 25 different sizes of wood pieces, for example, all labelled with letters and numbers, and over 14 different types of hardware). If you don't mind building it from the ground up, you'll have a very nice piece of furniture.

Beautiful dresser
I sooooo looked forward to this dresser!! It is beautiful indeed. It is as others have stated made of real solid wood (pretty heavy) and a classy, beautiful dark brown color. In fact...it matches furniture that I purchased from other very pricey retailers PERFECTLY!I had to have "one of the guys" put it together for me. It took him about 5 hours to assemble alone.BIG WATCH OUT!!! LINE THE DRAWERS!!! I have now had the dresser a few months...and I had some white shirts in the drawers and wherever they touched the drawer (bottom and on the sides)...it YELLOWED all of my white clothes. I am trying to bleach them now. Just line the drawers and you will be a very happy camper!!

Great looks, looks more expensive than it is
Overall I am extremely pleased with this purchase and I would recommend this. Relative to furniture one must assemble, this is definitely much higher quality than most. It was easy to put together, although it does take time. I glued every dowel and joint as well as the mechanical connections and the furniture is rock solid. Other reviews are correct in the fact that you must pay attention to the finished side of the pieces of wood, some of the pieces have a less finished side which would be noticeable. I bought 2 night stands, chest, and dresser and it took me most of a Saturday to put it together by myself. The dresser was the only problematic piece in the fact that the 2 front facing horizontals between the drawers had a slight bow to it, so it would have stuck out of and looked bad. I simply countersunk screws into the vertical to align it perfectly. I took heed of the warnings in other reviews concerning discoloration of clothing from the drawers. Prior to assembling the drawers I attached clear contact paper to each drawer bottom (much easier to do it in advance so you can simply trim the edges) and have had no issues with discoloration. Not sure if it would/would not have been an issue but it most certainly was not worth the risk. Overall the pieces look great and am happy with my purchase. If I could, I would have changed the design so that the vertical ends on each piece of furniture fit underneath the top surface of the furniture. It would have made a more refined and more expensive look. Furthermore, the 9 drawer dresser has 2 vertical legs in the middle aligned with the vertical separation of the 3 columns of drawers. While this is great for support and strength, it is a bit annoying for moving the furniture. I would prefer to have seen some stronger horizontal 2x3 type pieces spanning the distance for the same strength as well ease of movement after the fact.

great looking, but not for the faint of heart!
This is a great looking set - high quality and graceful. However, the number of pieces is overwhelming and the directions are quite complicated. My husband is an engineer and even he was surprised at complexity of the assembly. So if you decide to purchase it, the end result is worth the effort, but the amount of time it takes cannot be understated.

Nice Dresser If You are Handy
The dresser is nice. Putting it together took me four hours. In theory, you can make a dresser from scratch if you can put this thing together. I will say there are about 100 screws and 40 pieces you need to put up together. It is a tedious job. The quality is better than what you get from some factory like stores for sure. It is frustrating to put them together.

Wavelength 9- Drawer Dresser - Best buy yet !!
I am extremely pleased with this purchase and I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for an elegant piece of furniture to compliment the bedroom. This is definitely a much higher quality than most dressers sold in your big box stores. It was easy to put together (especially if you have a handy son-in-law) It took us a couple of hours. I was a little concerned with some reviews mentioning damaged pieces since this came in 3 boxes. When my packages arrived only one of the drawer tracks slivered (this is where you slide the bottom panel for the drawer) and I put some wood glue on it and just let it sit and it was just fine. Did not effect the drawer/dresser what-so-ever. All the wood pieces were perfectly matched. And the best part, I actully got it SALE !!! Love my dresser best buy ever! Will be getting the matching nightstand.

Love this Dresser!
Even though its takes about 4 hours to put together. This is a beautiful piece! The woodsman ship is great, this is a nice quality piece. When this dresser came together we were in aww. It took two of my friends to carry this into the bedroom and the ladies the drawers. Lol, but anyway I would recommend this Wavelength dresser to family and friends. Color was just as seen and better in person. Plus this arrived really quick after ordering
