the knives
Better quality sets have hollow handled knives to which a blade has been attached. Instead of one 18/10 knife, two pieces have been put together. The knife handle is 18/10. The blade is likely 13/0. This is better. If the blade was not 13/0, it would not hold an edge and could not be resharpened.

Better than Advertised
Great product for the price. Nice weight, very polished, feels more expensive than it was. We use for everyday and haven't experienced the problems some have described in their reviews. Run in dishwasher everyday no rusting yet after 3 months. Overstock delivered very promptly it was a very smooth transaction.

18/10 Flatware
Best flatware ever. Good weight. Very shiny. Because it is 18/10, the amount if nickel in the plating, it will retain it's shine. 18/ 0 will lose it's shine after awhile. I couldn't be more pleased. Looks great on a formal table , as well as on the breakfast table. Dishwasher safe. I checked around. This is a good price. Delivery was smooth. Couldn't be more pleased. If you only buy one set of flatware in your life, it should be this one!

The dinnerware set is awesome; however, it is advertised as 18/10. One would gather from that, that each piece is completely 18/10. Not so. On the handle of the knives it states: HANDLE IS 18/10. So, what's the rest of the kvife body made of? What about the forks and spoons? We really like the set but are concerned about it longevity in keeping it's shine and original appearance.

Gorgeous and so affordable
Gorgeous and substantial and affordale yet so fsncy. The shine is incredible. Makes me feel so special. Highly recommend and cannot say enough. Best purchase ever. Came so fast and in perfectt condition. The Waterford name on this and the glasses I bought really stands for the best reputation. Yet the average person now can afford this treat.

Cheaper quality than expected
I was so excited to see the package arrive! And quite disappointed to see the quality. The handles were bumpy as if they had tiny granules of metal on them. This detracted from the high shine on the flatware. I looked at several pieces before deciding to send them back. The spoons and forks were fine, but the knife handles were the problem. If you are not as particular, you may not notice. But for me, they were not.

Something for our new home
My husband and I currently live in separate states. I will be relocating at the end of the year to meet up with him. We are ordering items for our new home that we will finally share together after spending the first three years of our marriage apart. My husband used to work in retail and said this is a very good quality flatware set. I cant wait to use them. I have ordered several items from Overstock and have been greatly pleased with every purchase. In fact, I have now turned my mother on to this site.

This 18/10 silverware is just lovely! It is heavy and well balanced. I wanted this for nicer dinners not for everyday. It is just what I wanted! I ordered a 12 place setting now I would like to buy 12 more for big family dinners. My husband and daughters are so impressed with this silverware. I was impressed with its beauty and rich feel. Perfect Stainless
We love the Waterford Stainless! Even though we had to rearrange our flatware drawer to allow for so many pieces, it is well worth it. Works perfectly for everyday and company dinners as well.

GREAT FLATWARE!!
I love this flatware! I looked for a long time before deciding on the Waterford Mont Clare. We have only used it for a short time, but so far so good. They are a good quality and have a nice weight to them.
