I bought the disposer, and had a very good professional plumber install it. It took a couple of tries before he got it in without leaks. It is physically large, and I'd want to be sure there is room under your sink before selecting it. Once intstalled, it has been amazingly quiet, fast, and powerful, and a big improvement over the (GE) unit it replaced. I'd recommend it highly, but after seeing what a pro went through, I would not pick this unit if I were doing it myself.

The install collar is only used on Waste King disposals. This makes using other hardware ( sink trap) unlikely. I wanted to use a SS trap but it would not mate the the Wasted King collar. The disposal works great and will grind anything short of rocks.
