this garbage disposal is going to be awesome in my new kitchen. i ordered 2 so i can grind it up at both sinks. 1 HP may be overkill, but i want to be sure to destroy anything sent down the drain.

I ordered in August finally installed in February. Replacing a 5.5 year old 3/4 horsepower In SInk Erator. This is the 3rd disposal I have installed and it took me more time than I liked, I wrongly assumed this was hardwired, came as a plug in. Took me some time to remove cord so I could do the connections. Waste King does a real nice job with their design. Disposal was lighter than others I have had, Directions clear and install easy (after the hard wire thing). It is so quiet it is almost scary. If you never had a disposal before, you hear the noise. If you are replacing disposal you wonder if it is working, because you think, wow I can hardly hear that.

We have had this installed for a whole year now and it is working GREAT still.

This is a great value - much cheaper than what you would pay for a 1hp disposal at your big box store. It's quiet, it was relatively easy to install (husband did it in a few hours) and it seems to happily eat up any food that goes down the drain. Overall, a great purchase and a nice budget saver!

My old disposal died and I was determined to get a highend new one! I read the reviews and purchased the Waste King. I'm so Pleased!

We did a kitchen remodel and decided to replace our conractor grade disposal while at it. Good decision on our part, choosing the Waste King was a great option. Excellent price for a top end unit that we expect to get several years of service from.

I went shopping at the "Orange Box" and they had demos for the sound. I tested them all. The for *** + was a little louder than the Waste King. I am so, so pleased with this product. And I highly recommend it. I had it professionally installed, so I have not opinion on whether is was a difficult install or not. I also purchased the air switch. Very cool.

Installation went easily. Extremely strong motor. Probably stronger than we needed, but such a good value for money we couldn't resist.

This has been the best garbage disposal I have ever had, my husband and I joke that it's really a wood chipper! This thing has so much power and suction nothing gets away. It was easy to install and the quality will last for a super long time, I love it!

The Waste King Disposal will grind up the toughest stuff you can toss in to it, and do so very quietly. We replaced a 30 year old high end 3/4 hp disposal with this one and we are very pleased with it. It is not a really heavy peice of equipment, but don't be fooled by that. It runs like a charm, not even a hiccup, and we are very hard on it. Overall, it was a very good purchase and we are very happy with it.

Good disposer... but not that quiet. Replaced standard builder quality disposer and it is more quiet than that product, but it could be quieter. Fairly easy to install and should make mush of all stuff run through it.

I purchased this model to replace an eleven year old builders' model of another brand when I remodeled my kitchen. I chose it because of the Consumer Reports evaluation and the reviews I read here. It arrived within a few days of my order and its progress across country was easy to track on line. It is quieter than the old model, but a little louder than the ones from the big box stores. It is efficient and I look forward to using it for many years.

We've been using our new Waste King for a couple of weeks now and could not be happier. We did need a plumber to install it, but it was worth it. It's so quiet; I can't believe it. And, the Overstock price was great.

Purchased 3 of these for new construction so none will be installed for a few months. Price is execellent, about 1/3 of other top brands and consumer reports gave a good review. We'll see.

We were in need of a new garbage disposer. After reading the reviews on this product, I ordered one. Came on time - my husband installed it and it works great - I am very pleased with it - it has plenty of power & doesn't vibrate my whole sink area when I'm using it. I would highly recommend it. I've ordered many different items from Overstock over the years and have been satisfied with everything. Haven't had to send anything back yet. Can't beat the low shipping prices!!
