  Very Happy with this product. Does exactly what it claims to do and was very easy to install. I would reccomend it to anyone tired of running up and down stairs to see if the Laundry Machines are done. Works for both Dyer and Washer at the same time.

  This thing is great. You plug it into the nearest outlet and it shows the time remaining on the washer & dryer. We had to pull the washer & dryer out from the wall to install a modem on the back of each unit, but this was pretty easy and only needs to be done once. We also had to clear some codes on the washer and dryer by pressing a sequence of buttons which is explained in the accompanying manual. The button sequence for the dryer did not clear the codes for our machine, but I found the correct codes with a little Google searching. We also found that the monitor would not work reliably in all of our outlets. It seems that if the monitor is plugged into an outlet that is wired to the same side of the fuse/circuit breaker panel as the washer and dryer, it works reliably. However, if the monitor is plugged into an outlet which is wired to the opposite side, it is not so reliable. This is addressed along with a solution in the manual that comes with the monitor.
