I considered these chairs many times before buying. I was leery that the way the legs were described they would not appear pure black, which is what I wanted. I was also tired of dining chairs that just weren't comfortable. Well I finally decided to try a pair and WOW. Fantastically comfortable and gorgeous. The leather is beautiful, the legs are black and create an incredibly striking chair. So I came back for 4 more to make a set of six. The value is outstanding. The chairs arrive fully asssembled, well packaged and protected. Slide them out of the box and you are ready to go. I do recommend getting felt pads for feet of chairs as the plastic pads that come in the box make moving chairs a pain. If you are looking for sleek, solid, and COMFORTABLE leather dining chairs these are the chairs for you.

These chairs are even better than pictured - handsome, sturdy, comfortable (more firm than soft). They've got just enough design "punch" - not ordinary, and not "over the top," either. Yes, as noted by others, this is not a tall chair - short is what I was looking for, and it's very hard to find in upholstered dining chairs with style. They're also not small all over, like many other short-backed chairs. At first glance they look like I paid 2-3 times the price - and on close examination, they STILL look like I paid a bundle. I've got no objection to the synthetic leather - it looks real, and cleans a whole lot easier. The chairs arrived quickly, in perfect condition. (No assembly is a real plus!) Kudos to O - this is my first purchase, and I'll be shopping here regularly from now on.

These chairs are fabulous! They were packed well and arrived on time in perfect condition. They are well made and are exactly as described. They have clean, modern lines, and are very comfortable. A great value!

We bought these as a temporary dining set up until our goods arrived in 2006. We then used them as office chairs. I've sat in them for hours straight and they were very comfortable. I have since moved and just recently sold them on craigslist. They had held up very well and were like new after years of use. They are kind of thick looking but that is the only negative, my husband loved the look.

I HAD ALREADY BOUGHT 4 OF THESE AND SAW THEY WERE IN DANGER OF SELLING OUT SO I BOUGHT 2 MORE! NO ASSEMBLY OTHER THAN STICKING THE LITTLE TABS ON THE FEET. GORGEOUS LOOKING - WILL FIND OUT ABOUT WORKMANSHIP DOWN THE ROAD, BUT THEY SEEM WELL MADE.

I have never ordered anything from Overtsock.com before, nor have I ever ordered any furniture online. I was leary, but after reading the reviews on this chair I was willing to give them a try. I'm SO very glad I did. These chairs are just what we had been looking for. They were better than I ever expected, they're very sharp, expensive looking chairs...I was even impressed with the way the undersides were finished. They are so sturdy, very comfortable and handsome too boot! The yeven included rubber pads for the chair legs. Shipping? Don't even worry about it for one second, these chairs were wrapped in protective foam, then bubble wrapped. Each leg had a heavy vinyl protector around them. I can't say enough good things about these awesome chairs....except that you better order before they're gone! I ordered 4 initially, but I'm ordering 2 more today.

Don't worry about these chairs, they are fabulous. It took less than a week to get them and they were assembled in boxes with the chair pads for the legs so they don't scratch your floor. Matches well with almost any decor. Couldn't be happier!

I love my new chairs. They didn't have to be assembled. Everyone has commented on how beautiful they are and asked where I got them.

great looking. VERY similar to bar stools i bought 2 years ago for 3 times the price. they are slightly more narrow than the photo indicates, so be warned... but that could be a good thing for fitting more chairs around a dining table.

These chairs are extremely comfortable! NO assembly whatsoever, which for me was critical since I have little patience or time. Note the height; one reviewer complained they were too short. They are shorter than average dining chairs but some modern chairs are short and the comfort made up for the height in my opinion. The leather is rich and easy to clean.

After reading the reviews I was expecting to receive very elegant dining chairs but I received very nice kitchen chairs. Elegance is long back chairs not short little chairs that I can push under the table. They really ruined my decor but you have to go through so much to return them so I found another place outside of my dining area to place them.

After reading the reviews regarding these chairs, I decided to purchase four for my new dining room. When they arrived I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable they were. Overall I am so pleased with these chairs. I can't believe that something that looks this rich was affordable for me to have in my home. One chair has a small minor flaw in the leather of the seat but it's hardly noticable.

I hadn't ordered from Overstock.com before, and was a little worried that the low price indicated poor quality. I took a chance, and boy was I pleased! The chairs are clean and sturdy. One of the six I ordered was slightly wobbly, but a felt pad under one leg solved that problem. These are the perfect dinner party chairs: you can sit forward during the meal in a comfortable seat, and after the meal you can lean back with one arm over the back of the chair and a coffee or drink in the other hand. They are easy to clean and make a great first impression. They aren't perfect, but for the price they are a terrific value!

I bought eight of these chairs to place around my large round dining table. They arrived promptly and were well packaged--in perfect condition! We were a little skeptical ordering these since we had not had a chance to sit in them. But, we love them. They are so comfy and look great with our black distressed wood table. They are very well made.

When I was a little girl I always hated dusting my mother's dining room chairs, which have elaborate scrolled and carved backs with lots of nooks and crannies for dust to settle into. These chairs are timeless and simple, very comfortable as dining chairs go, and the easiest thing in the world to dust (I could probably hose them off if I had to!). I have to say, also, I think these chairs are beautiful. The two *extremely minor* flaws I've found are that occasionally you get one with a wobble (can be remedied) and the rubber glue-on foot pads don't always stick as well as they should. I recommend these with great enthusiasm.
