Have to agree the grease could be handled better!
We purchased a Cusinart griddler (twice) and experienced problems-one arrived broken and the second broke after four uses. The Waring is of a similar design and has a much more "solid" feel than the very similar looking Cusinart but the Cusinart did have a much better way of handling the grease with its slide-in grease tray. As we use this primarily for grilling chicken breast and sandwiches, grease is not a real big issue. I believe all online and catalog retailers should, in product descriptions, include an image of the item in its retail packaging.
