I thought a wine chiller's purpose was to chill wine quickly. I drink primarily white wine. After discovering it took 3 hours to chill wine to 45 degrees I decided to research this product. What I found was this product does not effectively chill while wine but seems to do a decent job with red wines. I don't know about you but that didn't make any sense to me at all., I do know now to pre-chill my white wine and only use it to maintain the temperature. It does do that effectively. With that being said, I can't complain too much about the unit. The old saying is so true - you get what you paid for. The refurbished unit was $$$ and I had $$$ in O rewards. So I paid a total of $$$. I have nothing to complain about.
