I like the look of the thing, but two issues. One is there is no notch in the lid so sometimes the center (grab) portion pulls out from the rubber on the lid. So you have a separated lid. Other blenders from this company have a side locking notch that reduces the separation of the lid into two pieces. Also, it worked great as a blender (I need a real ice crusher for smoothies) until a few months went by then it began to leak out the bottom.

This is exactly what we were looking for. After accidentally leaving a metal spoon in our old blender and turning it on , we needed a new blender. This fit the bill with a large container and the retro look fits well in our kitchen. Works great with plenty of power. Great detail taken in the style of the blender. Very high quality.

We wanted to order something to fit in our old kitchen, but it had to be of quality too. I think Mrs C. would be happy to whip up a shake for RIchie and Joanie and a more adult drink for her and Mr. C..... We use it for salsa and crushed ice. All I can say are HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE TO STAY!!!!!!!!!
