There are definitely some problems with this item. Once assembled, the unit was out of true to a signifiicant degree, so that the large door sticks significantly. Also, the quality of the locking cams was inferior. Three broke during the assembly process. The ones we bought at a local hardware store as replacements cost only 45 cents, and were of a much better quality. This item was advertised as comparable to furniture costing over $600. It is difficult to believe that this item ever retailed for that amount, based on the problems we delineated above.

This is the worst item I have ever purchased from OVerstock. Horrible assembly instructions, cheaply made materials (Cam locks self-destructed, dowels did not fit holes....the only thing that holds this piece semi-stable ¿ and that is saying a lot ¿ are the drawers, which are so tight you cannot even pull them out once shoved in) DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT. If I could give it negative stars I would.

the big problem was the hardware that came with the sofa table was incomplete. I called the manufacturer and the hardware was replaced at no charge. Another problem came up after I had complete the assembly one of the drawers did not fit again the manufacturer replaced the drawer at no charge. other than that it looks nice.

After reading the reviews on this item I was anticipating trouble and of course my drawers didn't fit . That is they didn't fit until they were assembled properly, The section of the sides that is cut out goes to the back of the drawer. that is the proper way to assemble them. Now I love my chest. it is attractive and very roomy.

The table has shelves that can be adjusted to desired height, which is nice, but the only problem is the drawers - they are slightly to wide once assembled to be inserted. I put them together, took them apart, put them back together...finally my cousin came over to help me, and we managed to wedge one of the drawers in, but it is so tight I can't pull it back out! And the second drawer?? Forget it; impossible...looks great, I just have one drawer that I can't use. Cabinet and shelves are fine though.

This is a great piece, it looks beautiful. I was not easy to put together, but it's detailed so I wouldn't expect it to be. It came with all the needed hardware and everything fit just fine. It took us about 2 hours to put together and everything went on just great. I really don't understand why anyone is having issues. I buy from overstock all the time and they deliver quality - this is no different. Thanks overstock!!

This was the perfect size for our attic den, there were A LOT of pieces, and it took longer than I had time for, so I hired a contractor friend to put it together- with a little necessary help from a hammer. It offers lots of storage in a small space and has a medium quality look.

This table isn't anything amazing, but I don't have any regrets in buying it. It serves its' purpose and looks pretty nice. I would have liked more color options, but that's not too big of a deal.

It's not perfect but it looks great assembled. Assembly was not hard but took a couple of hours. Everything fit fine, but the factory had overdrilled the holes for the cam screws - they then filled them in so the hardware fit. It doesn't show but you know it's there. A GREAT bargain.

Overall I love the table. It looks great . With the exception of the wood dowels, which were very loose, everything fit just fine. I think it's worth the price.

This sofa table is really nice. The quality is what I wanted. The drawers and shelves make it a step above just a four-legged table. NICE!!!

IT WAS A CHALLENGE PUTTING IT TOGETHER IN THE BEGINNING BY MYSELF, BUT AFTER A FEW HOURS, AND LOOKING AT THE FINISHED PRODUCT, I WAS VERY SATISFIED. THE PRICE IS GREAT, AND THE INSTUCTIONS WERE VERY EASY TO FOLLOW.

It's a good thing the item was 80% on Overstock. It's worth what I paid on the site, but not it's regular price. Make sur eyou set aside a few hours to put this together. Overall, good review... I'd recommend!

Well, I was a bit alarmed when the first drawer was too big to fit into the table, and when the second drawer had one of its sides about a 1/4 inch smaller in two dimensions from the other three. The third problem was that it had only enough pegs for one movable shelf instead of two. When I called the company (the manufacturer not Overstock) I described the problem. They were very nice, and said that they would send replacements for the offending parts and I should receive them in about five days. The extra set of pegs came; the drawers did not.

I bought this on sale, and putting it together took some time, mostly because I did it myself. I like the wood but it's easily scratch.

I was a bit wary after purchasing product, as I'd waited untill later to read reviews. Much to my 'pleasant' surprise, it was easier to put together than indicated. There are many pieces and you need room to spread out the components. It did take two of us, and surprisingly,only took us two hours. I was very happy with the instructions and if followed closely quite easy. It was a bit time consuming, but well worth the effort. The final result, a SWEET looking sofa Storage table. I have had compliments from everyone who has seen it. The drawers open and close smoothely . It really adds a touch of elegant country-style . I really am very pleased with the unit. Delivery time and price uncomparable! If you like it BUY IT. You'll be happy you did.

I ordered it and had my hubby assemble. Took him several hours and some choice words, but it all came together. There was a little nick that I'm sure I can cover up with some creative touch up. Going together I wasn't sure, but once it was completed it is solid and is well worth the money at less than $150. The shelves on the bottom are smaller than they appear and our local cable boxes do not fit on the shelf, must go on the top.

If you've never assembled furniture before don't buy this. However, if you don't mind the sweat equity then this piece will look awesome when you're done. I am very handy but this took me two evenings of work. I do have kids who like to "help" so could have done it in one night. I do have to order spare parts as one of the drawers wasn't routered properly and cannot be assembled.
