Very nice piece of furniture. This piece was easy to assemble. The color is rich and dark and matched the tv stand that we had also purchased from Overstock.
Fast delivery, looks nice, was pretty easy to assemble and I did it by myself. Have your own wood glue, as what they provided was dried up. I would recommend, I put it in guest bedroom between twin beds,and it looks good.
Hi, i've been wanting one of these ladders for several years. when i saw it while browsing on overstock and saw the great price, i decided to get it. it's great. just what i wanted. the only complaint, if you can call it that, is i think you need to put MORE glue in the kit. GREAT PRODUCT....
I forgot to put the glue in the wooden things, so had to go back and do that. Even after that, the shelves seemed a bit wobbly. I screwed them in really tight and they were still wobbly. My books would start leaning towards the back.The cap lock screw for the bottom foot broke on my shelf, and I had to go to the hardware store to track down the piece.I wouldn't buy this item again despite the fact that it does look really nice.
The shelves were well constructed although stained darker than the walnut advertised. I bought 2 units to match for my living room. Assembly was easy with one person. The first unit went together nicely. On the second unit 2 of the barrel nuts were defective and broke as soon as I put the screws into them. These hold the shelf to the side rail so they are important. New barrel nuts were sent out immediately when I notified Overstock.com. I am very please with the units. They are everything I expected and a little more. Great deal for the price.
