Navigator console table
Looks exactly as pictured. A surprisingly sturdy, heavy table which is exactly what I wanted as a sofa table beside a pathway in my great room. Have had many conpliments on the table. So nice to have an additional place to display pictures, books and decorative items as well as 2 long draws for storage of remotes, TV programs, etc. Arrived in perfect condition with extra hardware. Took my husband 3+ hours to assemble but in the end it was worth it.

Assembly will put your patience to the test.
The fact that I had to put this together was fine, but assembling drawers was a bear. Poor drawings on directions made it impossible to know exactly where screws needed to be to attach sliding hardware, so it had to be removed and reassembled twice. 2 adults with 14 years of higher education between us and we needed a cocktail at the end. Maybe you would be better off starting with the cocktail and skipping the higher education. The piece looks very good but know it is a lot of work to assemble.

Beautiful furniture!
This is a lovely piece of furniture. Very heavy wood. Was not very difficult to put together. I did it by myself with the help of cushions and chairs for balancing. My husband and I both love it!! Thanks again Overstock!!

Heavy duty
Very heavy weight. Nice hardwood quality. The picture is 100% accurate in terms of color, scale and heft. It is narrow in depth and fits well in my foyer. Pay attention to the measurements because it's uniquely scaled and you'll notice it when you put it together...which is the only reason I gave it a 4 rather than a 5. I had my carpenter put it togther. He did an great job but I know if I had done it, it would have taken all day and eliminated most of the surprise and fun for me. That said, it's priced VERY WELL and that's why - you have to assemble it. It's a handsome table.

We were surprised at how beautiful this table is when finished. It is a job to put together... Read the other reviews and they were pretty on target. As seniors it took us a little longer... Looking forward to getting the matching pieces.. This is the 2nd table we have purchased from Overstock. Neither has disappointed us..

Great quality console table
This table is fabulous-- once it's put together! As other reviewers have stated, the assembly is a pretty serious undertaking. When they say "assembly required" they mean it! It took my very handy husband and I a little over 2 hours to put it together. It was simple enough to follow along, but just takes a lot of time because there are a lot of parts to put together. My suggestion is to just pour yourself a nice glass of wine and know you'll be at it for a little while and that it will be beautiful when it's all done. This table is extremely sturdy and no one would ever guess that it's an assemble-it-yourself project. The drawers slide very nicely (they actually have drawer sliders) and it is almost completely solid wood (no cheapy mdf stuff). The finish is great as well. I have two cats and after a month and a half there's still not a blemish on the top. The shelves are sturdy and hold heavy books and other accessories easily. I would have payed double for this table already assembled from a furniture store. It's THAT nice. We used it under our wall mounted 55" LED TV and it's proportions were perfect. We just have our cable box sitting on top for now but have plans to modify the top drawer to have a flip-down front to house the components. Highly recommended!
