This is exactly what we were looking for. The quality is excellent and the shipment arrived within five days of ordering. I only wish I had purchased the rings at the same time.

These wooden rods are beautiful. Excellent quality. A few notes: They are very heavy so unless you are in the studs every time, you will need the anchors. The holes in the brackets are not all the same angle. But, it wasn't as challenging as assembly has often become with so many products made cheaply in China. In fact, you can't tell if this is made in China and that is a compliment. One other note, these are large diameter rods and I have been having a hard time finding rings that, 1. Are the right diameter; and 2. Aren't immensely expensive. A great buy for the price . . .

I have bought 3 and placed them in two houses. I have learned to use a long drill bit, hold the bracket on the wall and drill through the holes at an angle making installation of the screws and/or anchors easier. A long Philips bit in the drill is better also. I bought the matching wood rings last time, took "s "hooks and clips from other curtain rings and placed them into the metal loops off the wood rings. The brackets could be more attractive...it helps to place a ring outside the bracket.
