great storage for a small space
I cought thsi and a set of two additional shelves to fill a wall in our small office. They add lots of storage without looking bulky. The desk portion seems a bit flimsy for much actualy work, but we haven't tried it out yet.

So far, so good
The shelves are beautiful looking and basically arrived matching the specifications advertised. One of the shelves was broken and there was some misunderstanding between Overstock Customer Service ("OCS") and me (they sent a screw to replace the shelf, instead of a shelf), but that was quickly corrected. This was also my first time dealing with OCS and I've got to say, despite the mix-up, it was highly satisfactory. They have fantastic customer service with live people who kept me in the loop on each step of progress. It was great! Back to the product... It was a little hard to put together because the pictures in the manual don't match the pieces in the box. BUT... I was able to use some basic logic and figure out which piece was supposed to go where. The shelves seem a little delicate, so I would recommend using the wall fastners included. It would've been even better though if the wall fastners were dark to match the shelves, instead of being white and black. That's right... two different colors for the wall fastners. What were they thinking? Luckily, you can't really tell unless you're looking closely.... Overall, I think this is a good product for the value.

Okay for now
good for the price I paid. I was able to assemble by myself. Purchased these until I find more permanent pieces for living room. Will definitely use them in another room in the house later.

Great buy
This is a great book shelf! Don't believe any of the reviews above about it not being sturdy, etc... Im in medical and have TONS of heavy books that are covering these shelves and I haven't once felt concerned that the thing is going to break or fall down. Looks nice, easy to put together. Definitely a highly recommended buy from me.

Nice for limited, non-heavy storage and clean look
Very nice piece for subtle, clean look and storage. Would not recommend for heavy duty storage of heavy books and bulky items but bottom two shelves are ideal for books, printers, supplies, etc. while the upper shelves are nice for picture frames and memorabilia. Very easy to install, although the three pieces are SEPARATE and do NOT attach to one another with is a little frustrating because it takes away from some support and is difficult to move individually and line back up again. Otherwise, very nice product.

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Very nice finish on the wood, seems very reliable. The actual build of the product doesn't allow for too much support so you have to be careful with what you load on shelves.
