    We used this tile to resurface our standard brick fireplace (circa 1950s). Amazing difference. Easy do-it-yourself project. Finished with new flat black metal and glass fireplace doors. Beautiful. Some of the tile chips are flat balck, some are an iridesicent glass. Really nice.

    we have not hung this tile yet BUT if it is anything like it looks in the(well packaged)box,then look out!!..It looks like flowing,crystal clear water..We will be using this on the inside of a full sized tub/shower rehab..it has a heavy well made feel and the backing is firm!!cant wait to see it on the wall.Useing a professional for this job.want it perfect!!..Thanks to the other review we took the plunge..

    By far the most difficult installation of my career! The tiles are VERY uneven in spacing and thickness. Many tile came loose from the backer sheet and there was a fair amount of spalling of the stone. The thickness of the stones varies GREATLY so acheiving a smoother surface is IMPOSSIBLE and grouting is an exercise meant only for the very patient. Had I not been married to the customer for 26 years I would have sent it back! GOOD LUCK! In the end it looks cool, but very rustic. Probably more suited for a Colorado mountain cabin than a turn of the century traditional home.
