Wall Hugger Crimson Microfiber Recliner Theater Chair

Overall this chair is a nice addition to my family room. I bought it because reviewers had said it is a darker red and was comfortable. Upon receipt I found it was a darker, Crimson Red, and does match my recliner family room couch. I also like the wall hugger feature, which not only gives me more room, but saves the wall and the chair when reclined. The chair isn't as comfortable as my previous rocker/recliner. The foot rest when up reveals the wood around the edge. I wish it had padded trim, which would make it look better and add more foot comfort when extended. Most of all getting up is somewhat of a workout! Instead of the handle to release the chair down, you must use your feet to push down. I find if you push down and follow it with another push the chair goes down a bit easier! Delivery was very quick without any problems. The price could have been a bit lower for this chair, but overall, I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this chair.

Yes the footrest is hard to put back down but it does click in with a little effort. The red is darker like others have mentioned as well. But the chair is super comfy and my family loves it. Overall, I'd say this is a great value!

I'm pleased to write a review for the wall hugger recliner. I was hesitant to order initially because of the color description. I was pleasantly surprised to find the color was a more brick red than crimson as described. Practically no assembly required - just adhere the chair back to seat and done. My only problem is trying to get out of chair once it is reclined. You almost have to kick with you heels to exit - it takes me a few tries (and laughs) to arise from a sitting (reclining)position!

I was not at home when the chair came so my daughter had to bring it into the house and assemble it. She told me it was a heavy box but the chair was easy to assemble since she only had to put the back on. I weigh about 250 so I will need to wait and see how well it holds up as I replaced a recliner that had a broken slide mechanism. I have had it 2 weeks and use it all the time. I am retired so I sit in it everyday, hours at a time, that is why I wanted a comfortable chair which will hold up. The chair is very comfortable, my son sat in it and told me it was the most comfortable chair he had ever sat in. It is very easy to fall asleep if you are tired and have it reclined. As others have said the red is not bright but more of a brick red which is fine with me as my other furniture is dark blue. I do wonder if the arm padding will hold up as it is soft and squishy but so far so good

BOUGHT FOR MY ELDERLY MOTHER AND THE FOOTREST IS TOO LARGE TO CLOSE PROPERLY AND SHE ISN'T STRONG ENOUGH TO GET THE CHAIR OUT OF THE RECLINING POSITION. AND SHE IS ON HER OWN & UNABLE TO BOX & RETURN. WASTE OF $$
