Received the clock and took out of box. Put (new) batteries in, assembled clock, and set chime and time. Put on wall and worked fine for a couple of days. After that went crazy and will not keep time.. When it chimes the long hand just spins around and will not keep time. It is a beautiful clock and it would have been better if it would only work properly. Brother also purchased one and he had problems also but he finally got it to work. Properly? He is afraid to touch it. But it is working... For now... Also materials were dirty before they were put together at factory, therefore dirty products.
I received my clock today, on time. I actually think the clock is very, very pretty and looks beautiful on my wall. I am dissapointed in the "chime". It is very electricy sounding and sounds kind of cheap. You can take the batteries out to disconnect the chime. For the price, it is very pretty though.
This clock has caught many an eye as they walked through the door and see it on the wall. Look's expensive compared to actual cost.
Chime volumn just right for myself. No complaints about this purchase from Overstock. Pleased as usual. Thanks again, OS!
