Beautiful and solid, this is a great value and makes a statement in any room. I love this piece and it will be with us for a long time. The boxes arrived proptly and while the peices are heavy, the assembly is straightforward and clearly pictured in the instruction booklet. I would also recommend two people assemble it together as some pieces are very heavy and it becomes difficult to lift alone. At the end the piece looks seamless and moddern. My friends cold not believe that we put it together when they saw it.

I love this table! I have it in my hallway at the top of my stairs. The assembly was long, but not difficult, just a lot of parts. Be prepared to invest some time and take your time. I assembled mine by myself, but I would advise having someone assist. Otherwise, beautiful table. It's holding up really well after many months.

You really can't beat the price of this piece, considering the quality. It is made of solid wood - - and, I do mean solid. I put it together myself and it wasn't difficult, at all. All of the hardware is accounted for...they even include some "extra" pieces of hardware, which was appreciated. Everything comes separated in little bags that are clearly marked. Great! I would definitely recommend this piece. I am using it as an entertainment center, but it would make a great side board, too.

We are very pleased with this piece. It looks very nice and suits our needs. It was quite a chore to put together, however, and arrives in 2 boxes.

I cordially recommend the "Wakefield Console Table" to anyone that that wishes to add a quality piece of furniture to their home - at an extraordinary value. The table looks exactly as pictured and is very solid (and heavy). Like the others that have viewed this table, I too suggest that two adults be available to out this table together (however, I did it on my own). This is because you have to flip the unit over during assembly. I also agree that it would be a lovely entertainment center and someone could have plenty of room for not only their television, but also other equipment. There are two large compartments on the side, which I thought may be a nice place to sit a subwoofer or something. I may pick up another table, but I am using it simply as a sofa table. The rich tones of the wood really look quite nice with modern pieces. Again, I would highly suggest this item. Please read my review on the matching coffee table as well.
