Great gift for a special family!
I ordered mulitlple to give as gifts - to a neighbor who was moving, friends getting married and blending families and for our hostess after a weekend visit. I printed out the history of the Red Plate from the internet - I had hoped that would have been included but overall the quality was great and the presentation lovely! Each plate made a big impression!

Perfect wedding gift
We received one of these as a wedding gift 23 years ago and we love the tradition it started. We now give them as wedding gifts and people are always excited to receive them. Overstock has the best value I could find anywhere for the authentic Waechtersbach plate.

Perfect for your family or a gift
I love the plate and the idea of celebrating ordinary miracle days for our family was matched perfectly by having this plate. My friend has one and she loves it as well. I also gave it as a gift and my friend looooved it. If you have children (young or old) or even if you don't you should get one. It helps families recognize milestones and accomplishments with more than just an attaboy. Your family members will remember the days they were served on the plate!
