    Very disappointed! I own the Waechtersbach - Germany mug and wanted to match it. it is superior. The authentic mug has the pattern fired in the glaze ... sort of bas-relief like their Christmas mugs. These are cheap - budget line ... made in Thailand not Germany. The pattern is just a stencil or decal. Now I understand the review that said not to put in the dishwasher.

  • What you expect from Waechtersbach

    I love these mugs - bought them to hang on my countertop mug tree for everyday coffee mugs. All this type of ceramic will chip pretty easily unless you take care. Naturally DH chipped them right away by clanking them into the dishwasher. If you are careful, they won't chip, but not for the careless. Love the design!
