Volice Swingarm Floor Lamp

Good looking floor lamp. Very easy to assemble. Like it's companion table lamp, the shade is dark, but with the swing arm you can position it where the light is needed.

I actually received this lamp very fast, but the shade had been crushed in delivery. Overstock contacted the manufacturer and within a week I had a replacement shade. Overstock frequently stayed in touch with me by email to advise status. Could not be more pleased with price, delivery, product and Overstock's attention to professionally resolve a problem . The fact that the lamp has a 3-way switch is a great bonus!

• Please tell us about the quality of the product. Very pleased with the lamp! It actually looks better than I expected based on some reviews. It is heavy enough and the arm swing has a small notch that stops it from passing the middle and keeping the lamp steady.

Had a little trouble screwing the pieces together so they were str8 but otherwise it is a nice lamp for the money.

I like the lamp, it's a good purchase. Here comes the BUT. When I stood it alongside my overstuffed chair, it wouldn't would reach over to the person who needs light to read in that chair unless I placed it alongside the arm. I had to reach down to reach up into the lamp to use the on/off switch. It could be about 6 inches taller or ADJUSTABLE. So then I moved it behind my normal sectional sofa, which is shorter in back than my chair. If you are going to purchase this lamp, take into consideration that the bottom of the shade is about 12" lower than the tallest point of the lamp. (this info should be included on site) Another thing is that if you move it at all, the cord gets out of the slots that allow it to sit level on the floor, so you have to fool around with it until it lies flat again.
