***This is not mounted - you basically get a mirror with nothing to hang it with. The mirror's surface is not flat and accurately reflecting. I'd return it if I had the patience, but oh well.***
I've bought the whole set - Cocktail Table, Sofa Table, Mirror, and two End Tables, and I am leaving this same comment for all of them. The price was high for me, but I bought all of them at once, so it's my own fault. Plus, I was just out of college with my first job, so I wanted my place to look a bit more professional. I am completely in love with the look and the quality (now that they are together and I've gotten used to looking at them). Basically, if you get one piece, that one piece will be unique and you won't be able to compare it to any other pieces. This might be better than my situation. By getting all sorts of pieces, I can tell the cheapness of the fabrication. Some pieces were better than others. The antique-looking gold edges are painted on the edges and some pieces were painted more sloppily than others. Perhaps that person was tired that day? Who knows? The glass is tempered, thank God! But it's nice and thick and heavy. The metal looks a bit brown, even though I guess it's black because that's what it says... perhaps the gold edge is playing tricks with my eyes? The mirror itself is not a good, flat mirror, but I am too lazy to return it, like others had done. The cocktail table has what appears to be a slight defect/not smooth top edge on the frame, but I got used to that as well. When you are putting these tables together, I had scrutinized the previous posts before I added the items to my cart after a month of debating. Those other reviews REALLY helped me because I knew I wouldn't be able to put these together myself, so I did have a guy help me. We both read the idiotic poorly translated from god-knows-what-language to English instructions. But know that you will want to make sure to understand those crazy pictures before you start screwing. And I am thankful that I have carpeting, because if I had hard-wood flooring, I doubt I could stand the wobbliness as they have four peg-thingies (yep, I have no clue about furniture) on the bottom that are supposed to be "adjustable" IF all of the holes were threaded correctly (spoiler alert). One hole was the devil and I'd like to give whoever made my one end table a piece of my mind! It took about two hours to put these tables together. I had four to do with help and the first table was the longest b/c you had to study those instructions. But after doing three, that fourth one was a breeze! It's been a while, since I was too busy to post this until six months after I'd purchased them, so I'd also read the previous posts since that's all I had to go on, as well, and I can't remember much specifics to be helpful. You'll be highly satisfied. I haven't had compliments, but not many people have seen my place. :) I love them - they really make my apt classy. Good luck!
