Vitreous China Top Rectangular Bathroom Sink

I was hesitant to order not one but two of these vanity tops, knowing they would travel across the country to the East coast. The first one arrived in a damaged box, was broken and had to be returned. The other one never made it to my door, damaged by the shipper and returned. Two more were immediately shipped back via UPS as promised, and I held my breath as the carrier brought them to my door, since they were wide, awkward, heavy boxes, and he clearly was having a hard time. They arrived in one piece, thankfully. As for the vanity tops, I have on installed thus far, since we are doing the project ourselves. It is very clean and very white. The three holes for the faucet are set quite far back on the top, so that it made installation tricky in our case. The vanity cabinet had to have a portion of the top support in the back cut out and faucet installation was difficult as a result of the location. The drain hole is also quite far back, so the drain pipes below the sink (which were perfectly centered in my case) had to be cut back toward the wall which barely made the sink trap (the curved part that has to be on the drain) able to be installed at all. It was hard to tighten the faucet pieces in such a tight space and the drain with lever for pop-up barely fit, having to have the metal cut shorter as well. So, given the problems with installation, I would still recommend this sink, however I don't think it is perfect. I wish it had only one hole drilled which would make it much easier to install...one hole faucet and separate spring pop-up drain would be easier to install that doesn't have a rod under the sink. Also, it is fragile, and should be handled cautiously. I wish the thickness/depth of the countertop portion especially was a little deeper. It sits so low in the vanity that I already had. If you can raise your vanity height, it would be fine. It is so easy to keep clean, and it is a bright, shiny white as pictured.
