Worth the Investment
I have gone through countless blenders in the last 7 years. I have bought Breville, Krups, KitchenAid, Cuisinart and Waring Pro. I use my blender about 2-3 times a day making smoothies for the family. I could never get more than a year out of these blenders and it was frustrating. I finally realize that I just needed to bite the bullet and invest in a commercial grade blender, because in the end, it would pay for itself. I am so glad that I did. This blender is amazing. It takes my smoothie making to a whole other level. I throw in whole pieces of apples, carrots, nuts and seeds and it pulverizes it into a smooth, healthy, delicious meal. Vita-Mix carries an amazing warranty (7 year) and most importantly Made in the U.S.A! This was a great investment that I do not regret. Because it is a commercial grade blender with a matching motor, it is a tall piece (with the 64 oz container), so it won't fit fully assembled under most kitchen cabinets. Having a 64oz container is wonderful, as I can make one batch and be done with it, unlike most household grade models.

brilliant
I love this machine as thousands do. My word of warning is I bought it from an american site and I live in australia and on arrival realized it had a different plug and different voltage. So i then need to buy a converter. All in all still much cheaper than buying retail.
