Generally well made. Table needed assembly - chairs were pre-assembled. One bolt hole was not quite right and needed to be drilled again. All pieces fit together well, otherwise. Directions were clear. Generally solid, but you can see there is a difference between this and the *** sets in high-end stores. The set was stained with a reddish stain of some sort. More red than the photo. Perhaps mimicking the redwood furniture fashion of the 70's? Not particularly attractive. I would love to know what this stuff is, so I could treat it accordingly. Is it a sealer or just a stain? I ended up lightly sanding and staining over it with a dark stain to bring the grain out (the red stuff completely hid the grain), and will probably cover that with a marine varnish to protect it. I could have alternately used a teak oil, but I don't know how that will react or stick over the red finish. Chairs are comfortable and have a wide range of adjustment. In the future I would have gone with a rectangular table (instead of rounded ends), as the chairs on the ends get crowded by the chairs on the sides. Also, note that the hole for the umbrella is located in the expansion leaf, so if you don't use the leaf, you have no umbrella hole.

Set arrived quickly - looks beautiful and very sturdy.

This set was quite nice for the first few months. However, I don't care what they say it's made of , it does not whether like teak or anything similar. One year later I have to buy a new set because it just lookes moldy. I have re-finished it (including sanding and oiling) twice. It looks terrible within weeks. Basically - it just ages poorly. Blotchy, black and gray - moldy looking. It is essentially ready for garbage after a year of use.

I do like this set, but in once summer it lost most of its color and got a little moldy. The chairs are heavy, but the recline feature is nice. Like I said, I like it, it seats a ton of people... just wished it would have held up a little better.

This is a great buy that looks wonderful on our deck. It was delivered promptly and in good condition. I highly recommend it!

This is a beautiful set - we receive many compliments on it. We rubbed it with linseed oil when purchased. I would highly recommend this to anyone considering a more expensive teak set - we actually find the color of the wood better! Great purchase.

This is a great table and chairs for the price. We researched for months and we are very satisfied with our purchase. You cannot beat Overstocks prices, shipping costs or their great customer service. We had one chair that arrived broken. After one e-chat with customer service, a new chair arrived within a week and I never had to send the broken one back. They really treat you well. Keep in mind that the chairs do recline and fold up which I really like for storage reasons. My husband wasn't sold on that aspect at first, but once they arrived and saw that they were still very sturdy, it won him over. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Have had the set for approx. 2 mo. now. It arrived very quickly. The chairs were already assembled, only the table had to be put together and it was easy for my husband. The chairs are comfortable even w/out cushions. One thing that wasn't a huge issue for me, but may be for others is: The color of the chairs does NOT match the color of the table. The table stain is lighter and more yellow, while the chair stain is darker and more red. The difference is not glaring, but it is definitely noticeable. Also, the umbrella hole is in the leaf that extends the table length, so you can't use an umbrella without the leaf. Even with those "glitches", I like the look and feel of the set, it's very nice.

This is a really great set and I would highly recommend it. Assembly was straightforward, as others have noted, the leaf must be in use for there to be a hole to put the umbrella through. The appearance is great. The adjustable chairs are also very nice. One thing I like is that there is plenty of clearance between the chair arms and the underneath of the table, so chairs can be tucked in easily. Overall a great deal. The set comes with an oil finish, I've added an extra coat of outdoor wood sealer.

Very happy with the value for this 9-piece set. Not too difficult to assemble. I like the reclining options the chairs give. Do buy this if you want a nice wooden patio furniture set.

the box for the table is labed: accacia teak (a different wood than shorea mahogany)The first table we recieved was a different color than the chairs. Overstock resent the table a second time (which came in the right color) however, many of the screw holes in the second one were to wide for the screws to latch on to and some of the wood on the table top itself were loose. Still hoping to get this resolved. That being said it is a nice looking table. The color fades fast so this will need a teak sealer applied. I see that another reviewer used thompsons water sealer, but that isn't recommended for shorea mahogony because of its high silica content. Should use a standard teak sealer instead

The dining set was 1/3 the cost of local vendors, shipping practically free, and it arrived nearly instantaneously. Although not required, we put a little Thompson's Water Seal on it in hopes of keeping it like new longer. The chairs adjust easily and fold for more convenient storage.

the table and chairs fit in very well with the decor on our new wood deck and have received severial compliments on it . we will look forward to using it for many years. the dealing with overstock was plaisure.

fabulous price, quality seems very good, will see how it weathers. reclining mechanism of chairs seem to stick a bit but nothing we can't live with. overall very happy. quick shipping.

The product was shipped within 2 weeks which was great. One chair was defective (a piece had broke off), but my husband was able to fix it with some wood glue. The set looks just like in the picture. The middle expansion piece is very easy to open and close. The chairs can recline which is nice. We will need to put something underneath the chairs so they slide around a little easier. The set is on concrete and is hard to move around without a lot of scraping. We have had the set for 2 weeks now and are satisfied.

I purchased the set for a long time. Now it is still new and durable. Natural color has changed some but not seriously. I would love to buy more!

The set has elegant beauty. We put them in meeting room. More place for them to sit.

Table can open more length for suitable with people. Beautiful and best quality good.
