This is a warning to anyone who thinks that this would be a durable, nicely built patio set! BUYER BEWARE! THIS IS DISPOSABLE FURNITURE! I have had this set for one season April - October...in Pennsylvania...It has completely warped! So much so that the table won't even stay together, where the leaf meets the table. Also the folding chairs won't fold, so that I can store it for the winter...I may just use it for firewood, at least I would get my money's worth out of it! Seriously, spend the extra money and buy a set at a reputable store. This is nothing but popsicle sticks and glue (not even good popsicle sticks).... I am completely disappointed!! If it sounds too good to be true...It is!!

I have had this product for less than a year now and was very excited when i first got it. It looked like a very nice expensive set that would last for many years. Well looks can be deceiving! The first time it rained on this set probably half the stain/pigment washed off the wood leaving my concrete patio stained red. It has continued to deteriorate and is now (or until last weekend when we painted it) a dull shade of gray. All in less than a years time. Many parts of the chairs are broken or cracked. The screws on the table have fallen out. The chairs hardware is a constant fight to keep them tight so that the rest of the chairs dont fall apart. As i said we spent the last weekend painting this set so that it may last a few more year and look somewhat descent. Oh ya i forgot that the chairs dont even match each other in some cases. Looks like they were made out of different wood or something. Dont waste your money on this set!

This is a terrible product! Has not lasted one year! Peeling finish, mold, bugs. I have contacted customer service and have not received any kind of solution. I even purchased the 5-year warranty! It looks as though several people have had the same problem. All of the positive reviews have come from people who recently purchased; and those who have had the set for a little while have been extremely disappointed. It might look okay when it comes out of the box; but trust me IT WON'T LAST!!! (Interestingly, my first negative review of this product was not posted)

We've had the table set for 2 years and it's completely destroyed, the chairs have fallen apart, some don't fold and some broke, the table has a lot of cracks and i'm sure is going to break too. As a reviewer said, it's a disposable table set, don't waste your money

I just received the table and chairs a few weeks ago, so I cannot comment on long term durability. The set looks rustic , elegant and well made. Unfortunately, 2 of the 6 chairs came broken, but Overstock quickly sent me 2 new ones, without a problem. The chairs are comfortable, and good looking but not as well made as I would have hoped for.When moving the chairs to desired seating positions, the arms feel a little flimsy and a little to delicatefor my tastes. Only time will tell The table in its open state, seats 6-8 comfortably. I have not purchased an umbrella yet, but it does appear you will need at least a 11ft one, if you plan to cover the table and shade it. Assuming the table will hold up for a year or two, outside, I would highly recommend purchasing it. Do cover it in rainy weather.. Other tables I looked at in solid woods, were much more expensive. It appears to be a good value for the money.

WE were very excited to think we were going to have a nice patio set for our new home we just built. When i ever opened the box and saw the quality of the table i was very disappointed. Then i was looking for the chairs and there were NONE. I was real upset now and got right on the phone with Overstock.com . I have to say they were great and refunded me. I will still continue to order from Overstock.com. Actually I just placed another order. ;)

I bought this set in May 2009 and first I was very happy with it. After one year, the table started warping, sinking in the middle and changing the original stain color. And afteranother year, it's pretty much too embarassing to use it, moldy and some parts are even split. I wish I can post the pictures. The chairs seem lasting longer. I need to go and get a new table now. :-(

This 7-pc dining set was sold at the Christmas Trees Store(s) last year for the SAME sale price. I highly doubt that the regular retail is $1200 - if it is it is overpriced. There's a reason why solid teak and eucalyptus furniture is priced the way it is: the better the quality, the higher the price. This set needs to be covered during inclimate weather and maintained with teak oil. If you 'baby' it, you will get several years of enjoyment out of this set. Leave it out in the rain and snow and you might as well use it for kindling the next spring.

I bought this 2 years ago. It was easy to put together. It still looks great after 2 years. I am very happy with this purchase.

Table is a good general design, with an integral (hidden) leaf, but chairs are poorly made. One chair arrived with a major wooden structural part broken during manufacture but sold and shipped anyway. That's intolerable. In addition, the table assembly instructions did not match the parts provided, some fasterners were missing, and one of the two hex wrenches that were supposed to be supplied was not in the package. With better attention to quality control, this set could have been outstanding for the price - but isn't.

This is an inerior product! Don't get it if you plan on keeping it outside. Their are pieces of wood on the table top that are rotted and black, parts are warped, the chairs finish has completly peeled off - the wood of the chairs is different than the wood of the talbe - I am asking the manufacturer to fixx the problem - I will let you know what I learn - as I am pending a response - there is a reason they are not offering a warrenty!

I bought the Vista 7 piece Patio Dining Set on overstock.com in June. The pieces are very light and flimsy. The hardware to assemble the table was missing a bolt, so I had to get a new one at the hardware store. This is not a solid hardwood table set, but rather a cheap, light, set. We'll see how it holds up to winter rains. The folding chairs are difficult to move without collapsing.

don't buy this product, we bought 5 months ago and is already falling apart. the wood lost the protection and now is soft, probably we'll need to replace it. We called overstock and they said there is no warranty, not even from the manufacturer

Overall the set looks really nice but you should know that it has its quarks. 1) The table has a built in leaf which I don't recall if that is mentioned (it surprised when I was assembling it; 2) you can only put an umbrella up if you have the leaf in use, this means you have to have the table at its maximum length.Since the table is too big for my patio with the leaf in, I've taken it out and will drill a new umbrella hole (2 inches). The chairs are quite nice and can recline back pretty far.I have only had the set a few weeks and it is fading already, so beware you need to keep it in shade or have a cover for it ( a good idea anyway) and the chairs.

I love, love this table and chairs! I did think that the table would be wider, but I'm not disappointed at all. It works awesome! It's so simple, yet so beautiful. I've gotten compliments from everyone who has seen it.

Quick delivery in excellent condition. And when I noticed a couple of days later that Overstock had (again) reduced the price the reimbursed the difference without hesitation. Loved to shop with them.

The delivery service was good they unloaded it right into my garage. The set had a lot of packaging and came undamaged. The table needed to be assembled, the leaf and the base need to be attached to the table top. Be careful, look at the picture carefully, we put the leaf on the wrong way at first.The table and chairs were very sturdy The set was very nice looking initially as the weeks went by the finish began to wear off and the table and parts of the chairs grayed and got black mold spots. Next season, the set will need to be cleaned and refinished. I hope I can restore it to the original look. If you do buy this set be prepared to refinish it. It is definitely not maintenance free. Perhaps if I had put an additional coat of finish on it when I received it, it might look better now. It was an relatively inexpensive set but it will require a lot of upkeep.

attractive, easy to assemble with an extremely competitive price. Maintenance is also easy. Delivery was prompt and efficient and easily handeled

This set is well made and will be used in a semi-closed sunroom. The chairs came assembled and nest below the table when not in use and they are comfortable to sit in. The table did require some assembly. It comes with allen wrenches, but they are difficult to use because of the size and length of the screws and the screws go into areas that don't allow the allen wrench to rotate fully. I recommend that you purchase a 3/8" drive hex (allen) socket to aid in getting the screws set properly. Additionally, a little soap on the screws aid in driving them without binding/overheating. I would not leave this set outside without covering it...even though it is reasonably well made, the wood would warp and deteriorate if left to the elements.

This is one of my best deals at Overstock. We shopped around for a set to sit at least 6 people for our backyard. And this is the only set that we can find on the Internet at this price point. Most of other similar sets are about $2000 or more at the other sites. Great deal!
