We've only had this set for a month, but so far we've been very happy with it. As other reviewers have mentioned, we sealed it with Thompson's water seal before putting it outside. It's already rained several times, and so far there hasn't been any sign of the original color fading. The color of the table, from the beginning, has been slightly different than the color of the chairs. Not dramatically different, but enough that we noticed. The construction seems fairly good, and seems like it should last for a while. The chairs came completely assembled, and the table was not very difficult to assemble. There were a few very small chips in the wood on some of the chairs when we received the set, but they're not very noticeable. The chairs are not overly large. They should accommodate most people, but someone particularly wide might not be super comfortable. The multiple position reclining backs in the chairs are a nice feature. Overall, for the price, we've been very happy with the set.

Overall I like the quality and appearance of the set. Loved the chairs because of the reclining feature and comfort. Also the ability to fold them up is a plus. A little disappointed with the durability. After only 3 weeks the wood has turned. Should have put that clear coat on a little sooner. The table is the only part that needs assembly and this was not too hard.

I just received the table and chairs a few weeks ago, so I cannot comment on long term durability. The set looks rustic , elegant and well made. Unfortunately, 2 of the 6 chairs came broken, but Overstock quickly sent me 2 new ones, without a problem. The chairs are comfortable, and good looking but not as well made as I would have hoped for.When moving the chairs to desired seating positions, the arms feel a little flimsy and a little to delicatefor my tastes. Only time will tell The table in its open state, seats 6-8 comfortably. I have not purchased an umbrella yet, but it does appear you will need at least a 11ft one, if you plan to cover the table and shade it. Assuming the table will hold up for a year or two, outside, I would highly recommend purchasing it. Do cover it in rainy weather.. Other tables I looked at in solid woods, were much more expensive. It appears to be a good value for the money.

This set was delivered quickly and the table was pretty easy to assemble. The chairs came ready to use. Although it is advertised as mahogany, all of the boxes read "teak" on the outside. The wood is beautiful and the table leaf is easy to use. All six chairs fit around the table comfortably when it is closed. The chairs tilt five different degrees and although they are decently comfortable, I'll be getting seat cushions for them (they are made of hard wood). Although the wood is already treated, it will have to be sealed to prevent it from turning a gray/silver color. I'm very satisfied with the set and would recommend it to others.

Could not believe the price for this set! Construction is top notch with all screws recessed and doweled over; brass hinges and screws, and tight joints. And the expected shipping time was stated as "up to 6 weeks" and it arrived in 5 days! This is definitely a good buy!

This was delivered in 5 days. The chairs were ready to use and the table did not take much effort to put together. The only downside was that the directions were not written but in picture form. I have never understood that but after reviewing them for about 20 minutes I was able to put the table together by myself rather quickly (under1 hr). looks great and seems very sturdy.

This is a really nice set and the table is big and sturdy.The reclining chair in which adjust the back is the one i love the most. It adjust my back comfortably, and fold-able. i love the design, so i bought 2 more similar chairs. The arriving table is well package, wires strap tears the box a bit, but thats fine.Pro: Afforable and sturdy, attractive design, quick shipment.Overall, i give it 5 stars. Definitely purchase from ovstk again.

Overall the set looks really nice but you should know that it has its quarks. 1) The table has a built in leaf which I don't recall if that is mentioned (it surprised when I was assembling it; 2) you can only put an umbrella up if you have the leaf in use, this means you have to have the table at its maximum length.Since the table is too big for my patio with the leaf in, I've taken it out and will drill a new umbrella hole (2 inches). The chairs are quite nice and can recline back pretty far.I have only had the set a few weeks and it is fading already, so beware you need to keep it in shade or have a cover for it ( a good idea anyway) and the chairs.

This set is a steal. The chair are so comfortable. We recline to multiple positions to make us comfortable. The table has a leaf that we can open up to make it bigger. I can't wait until our July 4th weekend party to have our guests on this table. A great product from Overstock.com.

we are very happy with this purchase. the price is unbeatable. we can't find this price anywhere else to fit our budget. we bought this dining set 9 months ago, and it still looks great now in our backyard!

I got this set for my father on Father Day, and it was just a perfect gift for my father. The set arrives after 2 days I ordered it. My father loves the product. My father used to be a carpenter, and he said that "truly beautiful craftsmanship". 5 star.

So far, I love the table. The color is gorgeous and I ampleased with the size. One thing to note: You cannot put in an umbrella unless the extension piece is in, as it is the piece with the hole. I got a 9' umbrella to go with it and I could have gone bigger. I cannot comment on the chairs. By mistake, Overstock sent us chairs that were not part of this set and they had sold out by the time we discovered the mistake. So, we have other bulkier chairs that do not fold and probably are not as nice. However, Overstock was apologetic and gave us another discount if we were willing to keep the chairs they delivered. It turned out to be a great deal because the "wrong" chairs were more expensive.

I was thrilled with the look and quality of this set. The disappointment occurred when assembling the table and trying to add the extention. The parts for the extention had been installed on the wrong side of the table prior to shipment. I'm sure this was a fluke and I would still recommend the set. However,I will have to pay someone to take the entire thing apart and redo it. Really. Too much of a hassle to send it back. I actually don't regret buying it, though, because it is the nicest set I have ever owned and it will get a lot of use.

This dining set arrived in a very timely manner, and it only took a couple of hours for my husband to assemble the chairs and table. The chairs are adjustable and seem very sturdy. We have not used the set much since cold weather had already arrived when we ordered it, but we have had cocktails a time or two outside and used the chairs. As far as I can tell, we got a great deal. Everyone who sees it comments on how nice it looks.
